Sunday Respite – Auberge

We have had a couple of “hot summer days” here and this work by Chris Rea comes to mind. Time to get on the road. I am a big fan of his, and thought this music along with the art work by Alan Fearnley would be a good pick for today. Those who enjoy cars will find this especially interesting. This should get our toes tapping and up and moving.

Chris Rea – Auberge. Auberge (a French word meaning “inn”) is an album by Chris Rea, released in 1991. All paintings featured in this video are from Alan Fearnley.

Notes: Chris Rea is synonymous with historic motor sport, as a racer and as a film maker with his movie, “La Passione”. Chris Rea describes his film as “various fantasies of Italy and Ferraris set to music” so it’s a mix of his own real passions: music, cars and Italy.

I suggest watching this in full screen. For politics page down or check out top picks listed on the right side of the page.

Wisihing you a wonderful day with much Peace.
