Gov DeSantis takes down a CNN reporter in brutal fashion

I will admit that this past week I have been trying to avoid much of the news. I am just sitting back holding my breath on Georgia and D.C.  Fox news has dwindled in my estimation and News Max… what can I say. But a good take down of a CNN reporter is worthy of recognition. I was looking for a feel good post…  Love this guy DeSantis.  But Florida rocks other than the hurricanes…. enjoy.

Have a great day…

I thought I commented last night:
DeSantis was Trumpian in his dismissal of that tool.

You haVe to love Gov DeSantis; this is the second time I’VE heard him really lambaste a ‘journalist’ and he’s always righteous in his indignation. He keeps telling her she only gets one question and, finally, when he allows her to finish, all she does is elaborate on that one question, getting in the accusations and ugliness she hadn’t quite accomplished yet! Perfect.
Until people like this governor start GIVING IT BACK, we’re doomed…….Love this gov!
BY the way, my own L.A. mayor blames TRUMP for any delays in vaccinations…….aPparently, he was supposed to have training done here to give vaccines as if every nurse and doctor in all cities hasn’t given a vaccination? And it would take 10 minutes to fill any healthcare pro in on keeping the vaccine cold, etc. But, no….it’s not GARCETTI’S FAULT people aren’t getting the vaccine…it’s TRUMP’S FAULT. It’d be hilarious if it wasn’t so DARNED STUPID.

I do wonder … is there any group of people Americans hate more than “journalists?” I say this, but despite all the information we receive about how dismal the numbers are among viewing audiences, the tv-cable moguls seem to be making money hand over fist. So, I’m guessing that the “viewing audiences” aren’t all that sparse.

DeSantis’ treatment of the press is like a shot in the arm to those of us who wake up in the morning asking for pox of biblical proportions to be sent down upon the heads of everyone associated with CNN/MSNBC (and Fox). Still, if Gov DeSantis envisions a political career beyond Florida’s governor, he needs to rethink his press strategy.

I’d advise, “Let the reporter ask the question, allow her or him as much time as it takes to discredit him or herself and then pull the rug out.” The longer he allows reporters to ask idiotic questions, the more time he has to frame a blistering response. I should have said, “The State of Florida is a capitalist republic, madam – not a communist dictatorship. In a republic, health corporations are allowed to decide for themselves how to run their businesses. It would help your reporting if you at least knew something about how a republic works.”

Gov. DeSantis was right, though … you can always tell how uninformed or under-educated a reporter is by how s/he frames questions. Between you and I and your large readership, though, I suspect that less than 10% of our 330-million people spend any time watching or listening to the “news.” This is mostly because nothing appearing on tv or radio is new.

That’s my conclusion….if someone wants to cover corruption, have at it….we all know the drill. As far as the press? Its a joke.. young kids are all that is out there. I am waiting to see how they “drill” into Biden…. anyway, a good show from Florida.
