Los Angeles to cut water and power where large parties are held

One can only wonder how much more those who live in California will tolerate. I could ask how could this be legal and on what grounds. But this is in the land of fruits and nuts.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti said Wednesday that he is authorizing the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power to shut off utility service to properties where large parties and gatherings are held in violation of public safety orders.

Other than this all is well in the swamp.

    Tens of thousands are now without electrical power due to fire danger. Low humidities and Santa Ana winds. I wonder how many of those people are trying to flee the fires (well, there aren’t any yet, but…) in electric cars. Oops.

    These governors are evil people. Its as simple as that and their states and cities are the bottom of the barrel. Tyranny destroys and of course their goal is to drive people out of their states, destroy religious freedom and expression and small business so they can sell things off to their rich buddies. Buddies who care nothing for sovereignty or human beings.

    BY the way..since I didn’t QUITE write enough just now (smile), I was wondering about the YOU CANNOT SING rule for Thanksgiving;

    Do any of YOUR families SING in the house….EVER? We’re a musical family and nobody SINGS at family gatherings! Yet we’re told we can’t SING! I found that hilarious!

    It would seem a majority of California voters have a Co-dependency relationship with their politicians: they need to get screwed and the pols need to screw them.

      I think it is called sado-masochism.. but then what do I know…. There is a light to the end of this story but few apparently have seen it.

        GOTTA say…nobody listened to Newsom’s edict about Thanksgiving! I was only me and a friend instead of our normal 35 family members having a wonderful Thanksgiving…but some of us are vulnerable due to pre existing stuff…Mom’s 89, Aunt and Uncle are in their late 80’s…. it all worked out fine, but NOT BECAUSE OF NEWSOM.
        You’re right..i had NOT heard about this IDIOT Mayor’s edict…..

        I am seeing Democrats VERY ticked off at Newsom’s hypocrisy and nobody can stand Garcetti, so I think this is a GOOD THING. I rather liken it (if I may expose a little bit of my sometimes Pollyanna attitude!) to if Biden DOES finally take the presidency (I can’t say WIN because I don’t believe he did)…..The first two years will cause the House AND Senate to go RED and then things stalemate…I like that! Then Trump wins in ’24…..AND we have amazing young up and comers like Cotton, Hawley, the kid with the eye patch whose name I can never remember from TX!, etcetc…and I don’t believe they’re RINO’s like Paul Ryan turned out to be……….

        Let the Lefties in California and all over the country (trust me, we don’t have them ALL, tho many of the Conservative bloggers love to suggest we do) act up…..they’ll be SHUT DOWN when even some Democrats say “I thought you weren’t going to raise our taxes!” and “What happened to that great unemployment low we had?” and “China’s doing WHAT TO US?” etc. Z has spoken. THanks for putting up with my verbosity yet again! 🙂

    I keep asking myself how much people are going to take and they just keep disappointing me. This is getting out of control and it is just getting started this time around, I am so disheartened right now.

    Los Angeles in in a state of rebellion. Many Los Angeles business have announced that they will not comply with the shut down order. A majority of sheriff departments have announced that they will not enforce shut down orders. The governor is struggling to regain control of the city and Counties in and around Los Angeles. Municipal utilities can have their power shut off by the state and will then be out of business, so they will comply with the governor’s orders. This is sort of a low key civil war.

    Shutting off water will certainly help people at those large gatherings wash their hands. So it looks like this is another move by the Democrat dictators to merely control.
