Sunday Respite – Silent Cry

Fall is starting to settle in here, though it is late in coming. We really haven’t had any cold weather yet except for one night.

Even so, the darkness is moving in, shortening the days. A bit of melancholy sets in as we prepare for the coming winter.

I suggest viewing the video in full screen. For politics page down and/or check out top posts listed on the right side of the page.

I have chosen the song Silent Cry by Artist Giovanni.

Wishing you a wonderful day with much peace.

Here’s the fall song we learned in the 2nd grade circa 1958 in a world that no longer exists:

    Trees are gold ripe chestnuts
    are falling,
Grasses grow brown leaves flutter down,
Through the town the bonfires 🔥 are Burning,
Winter draws near, autumn 🍂 is here.

I taught this to my grandson at 3 years old, now six. He changed it up a little with: through the downtown….

Have a beautiful day…there is talk from our newspaper, our area is closing down again; 36 new cases and 3 deaths related to Covid and a robocall from the mayor that Cuomo is demanding $10,000 fines for not masking up. It’s just never ending…so it seems. Growing very weary.
