Chris Wallace, Mark Meadows, Donald Trump and the blunders of the week

I think the notable quoteables for a Monday has to be Chris Wallace who has been foaming at the mouth every day, all day on Fox trying to rehab himself from oblivion after the debate. Here is a gem from back in the day which indicates he always had this thing regarding wealth and apparently Trump’s wealth in particular.

Keep digging Chris. It’s only getting better.

And about this so called joy ride Trump took around the hospital. Am I the only one who thinks that it is a really really good idea that NO bad actors in the world think for one nanosecond that our commander-in-chief is in anyway incapacitated? This is nonsense that everyone is squealing that we must know every last detail of his health and we must be informed each and every second.

This is a dangerous time anyway for the U.S. and the world right before an election. Those who might think that they could capitalize on any instability in governance just might get the idea it would be swell to try and take something that isn’t theirs.

“After the President met with his National security adviser he took a motorcade drive to see his supporters.”

The world is a dangerous place. I suggest that his motor tour around Walter Reed might just as well been to reassure Americans as well as the world that Trump is firmly at the helm.

As far as Mark Meadows and his dire remarks made on Friday concerning Trump’s health- it was a major misstep. That is not the presentation one gives to the world that Trump could have one foot in the grave and the next 48 hours would be critical. Period. End of  story.

and of course I must add a bonus for today’s post:

Speaker Nancy Pelosi raised the possibility that she might become acting president if neither President Trump nor Democratic nominee Joe Biden wins enough electoral votes to declare victory in the election on or after Nov. 3.

That’s it folks. The best of the swamp.
