20,000 Fake driver’s licenses seized at Chicago airport so far this year

Am I the only one asking if it is so easy to get a fake driver’s license how difficult must it be to scam our election system? Looking back at the history of this enterprise, another gift from China that keeps on giving. Bet as well China is up to making fake ballots. Fake I.D’s have been flowing in for at least a decade. Bet China could put a lid on this if they wanted to.

This is huge:

“These fraudulent identity documents can lead to identity theft, worksite enforcement, critical infrastructure protection, fraud linked to immigration-related crimes such as human smuggling and human trafficking,” CBP said in a news release, adding that, “these documents can be used by those individuals associated with terrorism to minimize scrutiny from travel screening measures.”

The federal customs officers have seized 1,513 shipments from overseas containing fraudulent documents—19,888 counterfeit U.S. driver’s licenses—just at Chicago O’Hare International Airport this year through the end of June.

Most of the shipments came from Hong Kong and mainland China, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Other shipments came from South Korea and the U.K.

CBP said most of the fake IDs were for college-age students. Many had the same photo but different names. But one alarming discovery was that the barcode on the fake Michigan licenses actually worked, CBP said.

Piccirilli, the acting area port director in Chicago, called the counterfeits “very realistic” and praised the officers for being able to scope out the fake documents and stop them from getting to the buyers.

In April, CBP said that customs officers at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport were seeing an increase in shipments of fake documents. Officers inspecting international shipments had found about 2,000 fake IDs in the prior year and a half.

    America’s been blessed so far……but, sadly, our naivite, our very freedoms, our trust, have DONE US IN.
    Not sure how we recover. Trump is trying HARD……..VERY hard. But he gets nothing in return but examples of that naivite of our Left “He can’t be right!” “He’s lying about fraud” “Voter fraud NEVER happens”…

    I am infuriated. I also got a blanket mailer from the registrar of voters. It said that it is mailing to addresses of registered voters, encouraging the recipient to vote by mail. This is different from absentee voting. Oh… if you are supposed to be a citizen, it said voting materials can be had in 18 foreign languages

      Oh wow… lucky you and your state… may I ask what State? At least in Florida one had to include your drivers license number to get one…. PA is ok this year but then you can set it up so in the future they will automatically send one. So if I move or die, the ballot will keep coming. in Florida one can check to see if the ballot was used and/or counted.

        Commiefornia! And a D/L means diddly here legally. Commie Newsom authorized ILLEGAL ALIENS to get D/L’s a couple of years ago. Also gave illegals $500 each as part of stimulus. What a phucked up society this has become.

        As for absentee voting, same here… but the difference is a citizen requested it. Mail in is different! Scrounging for votes! 😡

    Surprising that these fake identification cards are going to upstanding Chicago. During my free time, I have been compiling a list of stories not reported by the main stream media. In this long list, there is a story about how Lori Lightfoot continues to raid Black churches that refuse to shut down. Mind you, she allows BLM to operate. I wonder if there are any connections here.

    Ironically I have a story about Chicago today as well!
    And these are just the ones they managed to catch, how many got though? No doubt the mail in voting is going to be fraudulent and I never even thought about China or others making fake ballots! What is to stop people from voting at home and then going to the polls as well?

      I saw this happen during Obama I. Never thought I’d ever see Obama II. Boy was I in for a surprise!

        And all those on the rolls that have moved or died just waiting to be plucked. People don’t understand the difference between a bonafide absentee ballot and massive mail in balloting. In Florida I could follow my vote and find if it had been received or used and required a driver’s license number to be involved so could be traced. Not what we are talking about here… The beginning of the end Mustang.

    This is quite serious. I would think that several federal agencies would be all over this. I would think that it would be a priority, full press effort … but if it has been going on since 2014, maybe not. I get “China/Hong Kong.” I even believe South Korea. But the UK makes it smell less like Chinese mischief and more like something from the Middle East. But if this has been going on since 2014, six years is long enough to put a few good court cases together. Failing that, we should all have ZERO confidence in our electoral system.

    Do recall that I mentioned earlier a system-wide effort (yes, a conspiracy) to destroy the confidence of the American people in their institutions: it’s working. We no longer have faith in our election process, we no longer trust any politician or bureaucrat, the courts fail to deliver justice of any description, our schools fail to educate or prepare anyone for the real world, news media is little more than political propaganda, Congress is a clown show, federal law enforcement are political operatives, George Soros is the puppet master, and then on top of all this, we find out that AIG really is Tom Selleck’s first rodeo and Joe Namath is an insurance salesman. Cripes.

    Could it get any worse? I’m sure it can …

      There were stories back to 2011 so why is this not a major issue? Been going on through a number of administrations.You are spot on. Distrust is the goal and we will loose are trust in our election system this fall. Then there will be civil war without a doubt.
