Nuggets of News You May Have Missed

There was a time when I enjoyed the “white meat”…. Chick-fil-A’s Dan Cathy represents the next generation of leadership for the Atlanta-based fast-food chicken restaurant chain founded by his father, S. Truett Cathy. Here we go:

Just so we are clear…..what anarchy is……..

I was shocked when I heard the comments by Chick-Fil-A, I honestly do not know what is going on in this country any more. I have to believe there was a shakedown and he was afraid of retribution if he didn’t say something like this.

I’m not sure I understand why shining shoes is suddenly taboo. If you happen to be someone who didn’t want to stay in school for a diploma, and/or someone who has no ability to dream about the future, or perhaps you’ve been in prison forty times for crimes against society, then shining shoes may be the only avenue open to you for an honest living. And it has great perks, too. Betcha 99.9% of all shoe-shine people pay zero percent in federal, state, or local taxes. And we might, in our disdain for the profession, overlook the fact that no one knows more about shoes than a professional shoe shine person. At twenty dollars a pop, it doesn’t take much to earn $100/day of tax free income. Please, someone … what am I missing here?

It seems we are on the same page; I read, watch etc. the same things. Sad, Bunk…just plain sad. I am no longer mad or angry or want to commit a crime against those beastly human beings, I am at the sad stage.

I had some bitter words with my dad yesterday, he is 75. He fully spports this, yep, read that right. FULLY SUPPORTS the BLM, tearing down the statues, defunding the police etc. The very same man who spent summers taking me to the Battlesfields and learning about the Civil War, and giving me the love of History now tells me he fully supports this, just because he says Trump is a racist. I said, “Then you are calling me a racist and you know for a fact that I don’t have a racist bone in my body.” He said, “Well, then you are fooling yourself, because if you support Trump then you are a racist and part of the problem.” We hung up with that hanging in the air. SO, now the Civil War has begun/reignighted in ones own home. Families being pitted against one another. Sad fact/truths. History has a way of coming back and biting ones arse. Just saying.

I would like someone to show me how Trump is a racist. One or two concrete, factually based examples would do. But as to the “problem” with BLM and Anti-Fa, that was a gift of the Obama administration (as I recall), so if there IS a problem, it didn’t begin with Donald Trump. Please, someone … toss me a bone.

Linda, I’m not attempting to demean your Dad, but I have to say that no truly patriotic person, who is also entirely lucid, can support the Democratic Party, any of its henchmen, or any of its Soros-funded operatives. As for the deification of historical personalities, such as with Robert E. Lee and a long list of others, we need to stop doing that. None of the most prominent persons in history earned such laurels, save one, whom we crucified. All the rest were mortal men with all their strengths and all their failings, and it really is stupid to tear down their statues in feigned moral outrage when the fact is that history is what it is. We learn from it, or we end up repeating the mistakes of the past. It really is that simple. I’m sorry you had a not-so-nice conversation with your father on Father’s Day. By the way, this is what happened during the American Civil War … which broke up families and where family members ended up as enemies. You’re right … very sad.

Trump and racism; I wonder the same thing. ONCE he made a comment, I think in Charleston? …he said something like even Klan people weren’t all totally bad people….I paraphrase and am frankly too busy right now to google the exact words…but THAT WAS IT. FOREVER, he’s labeled RACIST!
RIDICULOUS. But it was ALL BLM needed.

What I’m beginning to see is the set up is working: It’s Saul Alinsky….

THIS is what MUST STOP…this labeling STUPIDLY MUST STOP, but SOMEBODY has to have the guts to say so. Will Trump ever say something like this…?

“We aren’t against Black Americans just because we don’t encourage those who are looting! We don’t hate Black Americans when we see BLM scaring and harming people…we do NOT LIKE THE ACTIONS, WHY do our decent Black Americans put up with this stereotype which has been set in place NOT BY US, by BAD ACTORS”

Yikes…imagine? TO THE GUILLOTINE! But is what I wrote really bad, racist, wrong?

As for Chick Fil A………..I LOVE IT but I MAY NEVER AGAIN………..

Z… I think if you check the quote you will find your interpretation of Trump a bit off when looking at the context……

You weren’t demeaning, Mustang, you are telling the truth. My dad was drafted to ‘Nam, fought as a door gunner, was shot down, died in route to Guam, was resuscitated and transferred to Hawaii then back to service. My husband said my dad has a deep haltered that has festered all these years. Perhaps my husband is right. No excuses, just saying, either you support the USA all the way or you don’t. No exceptions, maybe I am just to blinded by my own Patriotism to see/hear what he is saying.

I still wonder at who and how this whole racist thing got started about Trump….now Teddy Roosevelt.. I would ask those who now wish to remove him from history what his political agenda was…. I bet they don’t even know he was President. The ignorance is overwhelming.
I must say this is discouraging…. it is so rabid now…

My sister is a total Capitalist living in a very big house in an exclusive neighborhood with a built in pool

Drives a brand new shiny car

But if you were to sit down with her to talk she talks just like a Socialist and hates President Trump

She works in a hospital which she has done for the past 30 years

CNN plays on the TVs in the common areas of the hospital

And I swear my sister has been subliminally brainwashed by it

      We no longer talk politics

Thank God my brother is a Capitalist and a Trump supporter 🇺🇸

Name me one Republican, just one, who in the last ten years has advocated for or against a candidate based on race. Come on, give me a name and a citation. I’m waiting… Just one name. No?

Now name me one Democrat who has NOT declared that Biden’s running mate CAN NOT be a white person. Again, one Democrat who says Biden’s running mate can be white. I’m waiting… Come on, you can do it, just one name. No, actually you can’t do it.

But Republicans are racist. Democrats, on the other hand, are idiots.

History is so annoying isn’t it? Bet no one will mention Biden with a former Grand Wizard. It is and has been the democrats who have suppressed the Blacks but I am just preaching to the choir.

    • Mustang.Koji Says:

Linda, I am dearly sorry to hear of your situation with your father, especially after reading of how he educated you on the Civil War.

These punks destroying statues and memorials are doing it partly for the heck of it. Unfortunately, I hazard to guess they are products of our liberal led education system. Democratic southern states seceded from the young union as you well know because they simply wanted to own slaves. Republicans for the most part backed President Lincoln. But the point is history is history… and you can’t erase history be tearing down statues and memorials.

Emotions govern the demented minds of these folks – as seen in the video included by Bunkerville of the “CHOP” situation. The unrestrained screaming and emotional reactions to just seeing the police clearly shows: you can’t argue against emotions… and that is a heckuva hurdle.
