Democrats far more likely to snitch on neighbors than Republicans

Democrats are far more likely than Republicans to say they’d report neighbors for holding a social gathering in violation of coronavirus stay-at-home orders, according to a new Just the News Daily Poll with Scott Rasmussen.

An interesting poll that gives details on how far we have slipped in becoming a police state and like Nazi Germany.

Overall poll:

Just the News Daily Poll
With Scott Rasmussen

“There is a huge partisan difference,” Rasmussen said. “By a 44% to 31% margin, a plurality of Democrats would turn in their neighbors. By a 60% to 25% margin, Republicans would not. Independents are evenly divided. Other data I’ve released shows that a plurality of Republicans now believe the worst of the pandemic is behind us. Democrats strongly disagree.”

There are two pages and breaks it down further. Example by age. The kiddies much more likely to snitch. Apparently school indoctrination is working swell.

Suburban and urban voters are evenly divided on the Just the News Daily Poll question. However, by a 53% to 28% margin, rural voters would not report their neighbors.

“This is consistent with a tremendous amount of data I’m seeing highlighting the differences between suburban, urban, and rural voters,” Rasmussen said.

“There is also a gender gap,” he also noted. “Women are evenly divided. However, by a 51% to 32% margin, men would not report their neighbors to the police.”

A good read that dovetails with the Rasmussen poll.

From Front Page Mag:

People will argue that a temporary police state has been justified because of the allegedly unique threat to life posed by the new coronavirus. I do not believe the data will bear that out. Regardless, let us at least agree that we are closer to a police state than ever in American history.

………

No. 4: Snitches.

How do the police dispatchers learn of lawbreakers such as families playing softball in a public park, lone joggers without face masks, etc.? From their fellow citizens snitching on them.

The mayor of New York City, Bill de Blasio, set up a “snitch line,” whereby New Yorkers were told to send authorities photos of fellow New Yorkers violating any of the quarantine laws. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti similarly encouraged snitching, unabashedly using the term.

It is said that about 1 in every 100 East German citizens were informers for the Stasi, the East German secret police, as superbly portrayed in the film “The Lives of Others.” It would be interesting, and, I think, important, to know what percentage of New Yorkers informed on their fellow citizens. Now, again, you may think such a comparison is not morally valid, that de Blasio’s call to New Yorkers to serve a Stasi-like role was morally justified given the coronavirus pandemic. But you cannot deny it is Stasi-like or that, other than identifying spies during World War II, this is unprecedented in American history at anywhere near this level.

This past Friday night, I gathered with six others for a Shabbat dinner with friends in Santa Monica, California. On my Friday radio show, I announced I would be doing that, and if I was arrested, it would be worth it. In my most pessimistic dreams, I never imagined that in America, having dinner at a friend’s house would be an act of civil disobedience, perhaps even a criminal act. But that is precisely what happens in a police state.

The reason I believe this is a dress rehearsal is that too many Americans appear untroubled by it; the dominant force in America, the left, supports it, and one of the two major political parties has been taken over by the left. Democrats and their supporters have, in effect, announced they will use state power to force any law they can to combat the even greater “existential” crisis of global warming.

And with that All is Well in the Swamp.

Thank you for the like on Doss Prayed; which is how I linked to this post.
Before I became politically active, I was finding others taking umbrage with me for insisting our government had a hand in 9/11. Bush wanted his war… A corrupt Congress gave him over reaching powers with the damn “Patriot Act”. That made us a de-facto police state then and there.
Dem’s aren’t the only guilty ones; but I don’t wish to “rant on” here.
This so-called corona virus pandemic has -get this- a three-hundredths of ONE percent fatality rate for for infected people in their 20s [0.03%]
In 1969 the Hong Kong flu killed around 100,000 Americans; yet there was no forcing business deemed “non essential” to close, no “social distancing” and no egregious forbidding of free assembly [churches can’t congregate]… all these being unconstitutional acts.
Worse, the last few years, [no thanks to Jade Helm and other government acts such as agenda 21] we’ve had a disheartening lack of trust in our police.

Somehow I am not surprised by this! And to think it was not all that long ago that most of these people were either in Antifa or supporting Antifa!

Here’s a novel idea: if my neighbor has 20 people there, totally unprotected, I wouldn’t stop by! We are ADULTS!

That new day, bizarre world, or alternative universe we’ve all been warning about has arrived. There would be no snitching were it not for an environment that encourages it and rewards it. I think you are right about the “dress rehearsal,” but I never imagined it would manifest itself on a global scale in such a compressed period of time. Sure, I thought, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany … the UK … easy to “take over” people who were never free to begin with. I thought we had another fifty years or so.

What I heard on the news the other day gave me a glimmer of hope. I’m not sure where the newsreader was talking about, but in any case, at this one location/state, authorities released the names and addresses of those who snitched to the press and when this happened, the snitches became suddenly fearful for their safety. I suppose we need to get used to these things, for when we all become POWs, there must be a way of dealing with the rat finks. Tyranny is less than a generation away … it has arrived.

The State will soon reward the snitchers and they will no longer fear being revealed. In fact, they will be rewarded.. I too thought I would be able to live out my days in relative peace… But now I find the old folks….via a Chinese instigated virus… will be used to rid the society of the useless idle seniors who are simply a drain on the society… they will not give nursing homes staff N95 masks and in doing so many many deaths are inevitable….so we just sit here and wait. Just look at what Cuomo did to New York’s nursing homes.

So much for euthanasia now relegated to old world population control. With the success of COVID-19 how long before the labs are turning out viruses formulated for controlling targeted populations or races or creeds? Once the baby boomers are eliminated who’s next gen-X or maybe poor whites or Catholics and Jews? The prospects are endless. Time now for my hallucinogenic meds….

I have always lived by the adage; snitches get stitches. Karma always come back to these folks, always. We had a neighbor call the police the other day (Sunday or was it Saturday? Dunno, the days are running together) because we had a impromptu bbq when a friend stopped by. Yep, nothing became of it (the cop visit). It’s our backyard and we had chairs around the table –so techincially that was social distancing. Enough of snitches, enough of Cuomo and his progressive state.

The implications of this are staggering, Linda. I can understand that a police officer might stop by if the reason for doing so was loud disturbance of the peace (around 2 a.m.), but I’m not at all sure how that works for afternoon bar-b-ques. The Fourth Amendment protects us in our homes, and the Second Amendment might also come into play in protecting our homes from unwarranted invasion. Might be a good idea to post a sign advising all neighborhood snitches to check their fire insurance policy … just to make sure they’re covered in case of an unexpected catastrophic loss.

A short leap from Obama wanting his personal militia that fortunately never materialized. Like never before Amerika is ripe for the pickings and November 3rd, 2020 will be the tipping point. While most poo-poo the lefts revision of, suppression of if not elimination of history in all of academia their incrementalism as always has worked and continues to work. How can the young be wary of something they know nothing of? Its only a matter of time….

Not to worry. If there weren’t term limits de Blasio would win in a cakewalk in the upcoming 2021 mayoral election in The Rotten Apple. These people giving him the finger today will gladly bend over and play hide the sausage once more with Big Bird. As an added incentive to keeping his ineffective and corrupt administration in office is his larcenous pygmy former, now in the closet, lesbian wife Chirleen. She has it all: black-woman-lesbian married to a card carrying communist. Why, should she run their will be one big universal orgasm in the five boroughs. In closing, you people, you hypocrites giving de Blasio the finger should shove it up you own butts.
