So where the hell are our N95 Masks?

I listened to the latest televised extravaganza with Trump et al on the latest report complete with asinine questions sounding more like a score card from some basketball game. Numbers lots of numbers.

Yet not once, not one time were there any questions or pressure regarding the very one thing that can save our life and is saving healthcare workers lives every single day.

Instead we hear bromides about keeping safe distances and washing our hands when the one very important saving item we hear nothing about. Oh they are ramping up production, and China may send some more over. The AG will now arrest us if we have a stash. Not one word about how the average American will get them or when.

Drugs, cures, vaccines.

We could stop this virus in its tracks. Today if every single person had a N95 mask, gloves and practiced the the same standard practices of healthcare workers we could stay safe.

Congress continues to fight over a bill on how to best to destroy our economic system.

Thank you America.

The press is to worried about what Trump is calling the virus to ask any questions that have substance and the Dems are too busy shoving pork into the relief bill to do anything that might help the people. They are all showing their true colors and I hope people are seeing through it.

Steve you know their using the virus to push their socialist agenda will have zero impact on the brain matter, should there be any, residing in their depraved, undereducated, indifferent, apathetic, just garden variety stupid numb skulls. If Trump wins in November it will be a greater miracle than the 69’ Mets World Series win.

More important than “Where are our masks?” is “Where are our balls?” This nation becomes paralyzed by sheer panic over everything, and then never has the good grace to become embarrassed when the object of their panic turns out to be Chicken Little’s falling sky. I am embarrassed during the panic; embarrassed by my country. This is not the nation which defeated the British to form a new nation and conquered the wilderness to expand it. This is not the nation which won World War Two through a massive production of ships and planes. Today we are a nation of adult infants cowering in our “safe spaces” demanding that daddy keep us safe.

I agree as well.. I needed to go to the hospital for a test today……no worries for me.. Simply wore a N95er and life continued… Now that the Docs are being paid to do telemedicine the same as if they saw you in person, all my consults are now “telephonic”…. no balls for the Docs apparently either. How does one have a pulmonary consult via telephone?

Last Wednesday I went over my blood test labs with my endocrinologist via telemed….love it! Surely though my cardiologist will have me come in to his office.

I guess I’ll find out on 4/1/20, since I have a computer appointment scheduled with my pulmanologist on that date. I am fascinated to know how he is going to listen to my lungs over the internet.

Spoke to my folks yesterday…mom is a retired CFO for a major banking corp. Well, her words, “The numbers don’t add up, Linda.” Ok…and I firmly believe the American people have been “had”. And this is all I am going to say. BTW, I happen to like the Presidents’ daily press briefings.

I hope you are feeling better, been missing you, smiles.

Thanks Linda for your well wishes.. I think Trump at this point is doing the best he can, but as you say this whole thing doesn’t add up.. shoulda woulda coulda is a moot issue at this point. No excuse for no test kits and materials…

Linda “Had” by whom? This does seem insane..while this virus is apparently FAR more catchy (they found coronavirus on surfaces on a ship which has had no inhabitants for about 17 days) its results are about the same as the flu, tho some symptoms are apparently REALLY uncomfortable and there is more extreme fatigue in some people……..who do you think is “Had”ing us? Just curious ….

our government. Mom keeps saying the numbers dont add up…oh, the virus is real, DC is trying to tank the economy by shutting everything down. I think the virus has been here way longer than what is being said. Last spring, I was deathly ill with reoccurring pneumonia and flu like symptoms, the dr.’s had no idea what it was. After like 15-20 days it went away. Kept on being treated with Z packs and quarantine.

Pasting my comment from over at Geeez…

Mad had the TV on yesterday and Trump had a press conference that seemed like it lasted 5 days, followed by other programs that droned on an on about the virus. I think 10 minutes would be more than enough time to update.

Something’s rotten in Denmark. While Fox and the other Pollyanna’s on the right crow about 50% of the “American People” approving of his handling of the crisis DJT’s “handlers” are doing him no favors by allowing him to sound dopey behind the microphone. Lauding the efforts of the democrats in congress and democrat governors as his schoolyard pals while they steal his lunch money is not making Andrew Cuomo look any less attractive to the US and world audience. Should Biden becomes toast Trump is a one term president and Cuomo becomes the next occupant f the Oval Office. Meanwhile Schumer and Pelosi continue in their efforts, unscathed of course. to make sure the economy does not under any circumstances get back on track. What seemingly Soros and Gates, along with all the other One World elites and the democrats at al couldn’t do the Chinese led by Trump’s friend, great friend that is, Xi Jinping figured out on their.
And to answer the question where are the masks: Who the hell knows?

Among other reasons beside personal issues, is my unwillingness to go along with the nonsense coming out of the WH….. anyone in healthcare saw the writing on the wall and Trump’s asinine remarks in the beginning were just that. Who knows, he may have been mislead at this point who cares. The masks are simply a reflection of the whole stupidity… Ventilators? Just strap on a mask….
The fall of the USA….. and I have great difficulty posting about it….well said Peter…. you stated the facts that most prefer or chose not to think about.

There is something rotten in Denmark. Michael Crichton told us about it in his excellent book, State of Fear, it is the nasty habit governments have to create fear among the people in order that we’ll recognize how much we need the bureaucrats so that we’ll behave the way the government wants us to so that we’ll just sit down and shut up when told to do so.

I certainly agree with what Bill Hefner had to say. What this country needs is to grow a pair. Is there a virus going around? Yes. Is it a deadly virus? For some. Are we all going to be infected and die? Not even close. I’m all in favor of individuals acting responsibly, for taking reasonable precautions (for self and others), but I’m not going to place myself in an industrial refrigeration room hoping beyond all hope that the death angel passes me by. That’s not how America works.

Keeping my distance from others works well for me. I’m not one of those huggy, touchy, feely people anyway. So, let’s all exercise reasonable caution, let’s all promise never to trust the government, and hey … let’s all get together in ten years for a reunion! Peter’s buying.

Peter, I have no money; only debt. I’m so poor I can’t even pay attention. My financial strategy is to run up all credit cards to their max and die. That way, I don’t have to pay the bills. It’ll be someone else’s problem.
