Bloomberg surges to 2nd place nationally in polls

Anyone but Trump apparently in the latest polls of Democrats out on Monday. Bloomberg now qualifies for the Wednesday debate. Considering the withering attacks that have been made on him with the unearthing of past statements, everything that in a normal day would disqualify someone, not on a day when Trump is the opponent. Who says money can’t buy you everything?

Michael Bloomberg

Michael Bloomberg (D) is jumping behind Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) to second place nationally, a Zogby Analytics poll released Monday revealed.

The billionaire, whom Sanders has routinely railed against for attempting to “buy” the presidential primary, has made it to second place in a national poll, behind the socialist senator by just four percentage points — 20 percent to Sanders’ 24 percent support.

Zogby:

Monday’s RealClearPolitics average shows a similar lineup, with Sanders in the lead followed by Biden, Bloomberg, Warren, and Buttigieg.

Real Clear Politics:

The Takeaway

Bernie Sanders continues his winning ways and is now the national frontrunner. With Michael Bloomberg’s ascendancy into the second slot in the national polls, the campaigns of Elizabeth Warren and Pete Buttigieg have suffered tremendously. Biden is hurting too, but is banking heavily on strong support from African American voters in South Carolina, and if he doesn’t win it outright his campaign could be game over. Bloomberg is taking all of Biden’s support among key groups: mainly women, moderates, older voters, suburban voters, suburban women and college educated voters.

This almost makes me want to watch the debate. Almost.

Other than that all is well in the swamp.

We’re at rock bottom when 2 Left wing, horrible, evil “Jews” are running for Prez.
We have to pray like never before that they do not get elected

I think your analysis is right on, Bloomberg’s surge is probably the death knell for Mayor Pete, Warren, and Biden. It could be short-lived though if the candidates attack him on all this news that has come out about him. But the problem is, and you nailed this as well, is that the Dems main issue is defeating Trump at all costs and so they do not care what he said in the past as long as he can win. It will be interesting to see how the debate goes, or I should say it will be interesting to read about how it went.

I’d have to say that, YES SCARLET, ELECTIONS DO HAVE CONSEQUENCES!

And Socialism IS Socialism, Even If It Is “Democrat Socialism.”

In my observations over the decades, I’ve found…
The choice in this election is shaping up to be a very clear one. It will more than likely boil down to a battle between those who create and produce wealth, and those who take it away from you and redistribute it
In today’s election there are none more intolerant, than those who demand tolerance.

There are none more racist, than those who are the quickest to accuse others of racism.

There are none more closed minded than those who demand everyone else be open minded.

There are none more hateful than those who accuse others of hate.

There are none more uncivil than those who demand civility from others.

There those who are so quick to accuse everyone else around them of lying, that are chronic liar’s themselves!
I have been seeing this time and again with all the accusations of corruption by the Democrats/Liberals/Progressives/Socialist’s have made against Donald Trump since the very first day he won the election that made one false another accusations of corruption only to be guilty of that themselves.
They accuse President Trump, and other conservatives or just any Republican that disagrees with them of what they, themselves have done. . It’s not just hypocrisy. They actually believe that, if the accusations are made and investigated, something will be found, and if they can’t find any truth in it, they will invent one because they are already doing these things and can’t imagine a Republican that isn’t guilty of the same think that they are doing themselves.

This election years it’s a bit different that 2016, but Bernie Sanders who is the DNC useful idiot, is turning out to be a lot more than the useful Idiot he was in 2016, this time around he’s their Whipping Boy
They used him 2016 to only be eliminated so that they would be able to run their other Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton his own party did this to him because they thought that Old Bernie was too Dangerous as a Socialist, and that Hillary would be the one to defeat Donald Trump easily. And that “Her Thighness” would be America’s First Female President. Also that Trump would be a Push-Over.
And this time around, they’re using him for similar purposes; to eliminate Biden and pave the way for a Dark Horse who maybe one of several choices, such as Mayor Pete, or even Amy Klobuchar.
It seems as if their previous “Front Runner” (Joe Biden) has been doing VERY badly in the Democratic nominating contest. And the other “Also Ran” candidates” aren’t do so well. They brought in their “Heavy Weight” Mini Mike Bloomberg. But Ahh! All this new Bad New, and Bad Publicity” is making their latest entry to the contest look Very Bad He has been quoted as saying some Very Stupid things. Things that you might have thought was said by Joe Biden instead. Things about the American Farmers, and about Women, about the crime in New York, and things that made him appear to be a racist, by saying to “throw the young minorities (Blacks) against the wall and disarm then” and the Elderly that would make the average American voter say “Who The hell is this nincompoop saying”
And lets not forget that Bloomberg defended Stop and Frisk right up until he announced his candidacy, and then he turned on a dime and apologized for it 12 years later!
So NO, we’re not going to give a pass to Bloomberg on his racism, why should we? To this very day they are still accusing President Trump, and his supporters of Racism, and for NO reason! No reason other than being a Republican. .
Yes he is racist, he said that all the crimes in New York is by MINORITY MALES 15-25 years old! What white Republican could say that and have the media be silent about it? Certainly NOT Donald Trump! Does being a Democrat mean you are entitled to say Racist remarks and get away with it? Face it, Mini Mike Bloomberg is a Dictatorial Racist Snob. ,

So while Bernie Sanders who wants to be President so badly, and many of his supporters are a bit nervous because maybe he’s going to bring about some kind of Communist, or Socialist style of Government to America . Once again Uncle Bernie is becoming nothing more than a Whipping Boy again, and this time around Uncle Bernie is fighting mad. And his desperation is showing.

So lets not defend Bloomberg. He made his own bed. Let him lay in it!

This really has me wondering what to do:
    1. Do I participate in Project Chaos and vote for the least likely to survive against Trump or
    2. Vote in the Republican primaries and, therefore, support my local Republican chair who is fighting off challengers?

It would be a darn lot easier if the local Republican were a RINO.

It may only be a matter of time before voters on the right succumb to the well crafted Bloomberg propaganda as well. His initial ads catered to the white audience followed up by zeroing in on the Latinos with him speaking to them in Spanish and now for the black audience he has created the illusion that Obama supports his candidacy. This is the perfect wave with danger written all over it. At least half if not more of the american people are lazy, spoiled, inarticulate and unable to function as critical thinkers when it comes to something they know nothing about: politics and their own future.
In 1980 Reagan/Bush won 489 electoral votes to Carter/ Mondales 49. It would appear voters on both sides understood the damage Carter did to the country and how dangerous another four years of Carter would be for the nation. Those days are gone and those voters are gone replaced with what we have now a nationwide epidemic of stupidity fostered by Washington DC, academia, the media and oceans of bad actors. .

It’s amazing that the two leading Dem Candidates…are not Dems.
Bloomberg has long been a Republican and is only a Dem out of opportunity.
Sanders has long been an Independent and is only a Dem out of opportunity.

Interesting point Ed that is overlooked…. but it sure looks like plenty of Dems don’t mind. One thing our Founders failed to include was the process of election by States… talk about balkanization….every State can do their own thing.

I have to admit I’m with the DNC on this one…yes Bernie Sanders cannot be the nominee

I recently saw a picture of a Bernie campaign rally where there were 1000s of people who attended

People who must know Bernie is a known communist

Bernie Sanders is frightening to any freedom loving American 🇺🇸

Bloomberg (if nominee) might pick Stacy Abrams for VP

Remember her? Georgia Gov race ring a bell?

    TRUMP/PENCE 2020 🇺🇸

It is scary that so few appreciate what Communism is all about… I saw that Abrams intends to be president someday, then later she would take VP… you might be on to something…wow.. double wow.. Although I see little difference with Bloomberg over Bernie… the end game will turn out the same, the approach a bit different…. we are hanging on to our democracy by a fingernail and Trump..
