Bloomberg: Government Should Import ‘an Awful Lot More’ Immigrants

Democratic 2020 candidate Michael Bloomberg says he will recruit “an awful lot more” immigrants “to take all the different kinds of jobs” in the U.S. economy.

So much for the latest entry into the democrat presidential fray “taking the center lane.” Bloomberg is suppose to be the latest whizz kid who has figured out that money trumps pounding the pavement for votes. No debates for him. Just spread that wealth around various media sources. This should be a big hit in flyover country:

The immigrants can “improve our culture, our cuisine, our religion, our dialogue, and certainly improve our economy,” Bloomberg told reporters without naming the American cultures, cuisines, religions, and dialogues that would be improved.

In his comments, Bloomberg echoed the 1960s claim that the U.S is a diverse “nation of immigrants,” instead of a country build by similar-minded settlers from Europe. “This country was built by immigrants,” Bloomberg said, without noting the role played by Americans and their children.

Bloomberg, who owns roughly $55 billion in assets, has long supported mass migration. In 2013, he joined with the owner of Fox News, Rupert Murdoch, to create the Project for a New American Economy. The group of investors and politicians pushed for passage of the Gang of Eight amnesty in 2013.

In 2019, the group is pushing for the S.386 law that would help investors by encouraging many more Indian graduates to take white-collar jobs from American graduates.

Bloomberg’s group is also pushing for legislation that would provide an endless supply of H-2A visa workers to investors in the agriculture sector. The wage-capped workers would likely displace Americans, reduce pressure on investors to buy high-tech farm machinery, and convert many agriculture towns into “company towns” dominated by a single employer.

The U.S. already imports many immigrants — roughly one million per year, even as four million Americans turn 18 and prepare to join the workforce.

“We need an awful lot more immigrants rather than less,” Bloomberg told reporters after he filed the paperwork needed to join the Democratic Party’s primary in Arizona:

We have to go out and actually try to recruit immigrants to come here. We need immigrants to take all the different kinds of jobs that the country needs – improve our culture, our cuisine, our religion, our dialogue, and certainly improve our economy.

Announce that welfare is being discontinued in one year for able-bodied individuals and that they can free job training to take its place in the meantime. The training facilities will have armed security.

Course, low edumacation people need jobs in manufacturing so we need to get lots of those jobs back that clinton shipped out to China and Mexico.

bloomberg knows that American’s are dumping the democrat party and they will need lots of stupid dependent people to vote for them in sufficient numbers outside of New York, Oregon, Washington, California, and Virginia.

Could we kindly just export Bloomberg? I would be happy if his “news” organization also went with the numb nuck.

He’s partially correct in that we will need more illegals with drivers licenses to drive the school buses that will deliver the non-citizens to the polling places each November. And once he outlaws sugar, salt, fat and carbs we’ll need an additional labor force to run the black markets this will create so let’s all chant “Midget Mike for president.”

There are so many possibilities, Peter. Mental Mike; Magic Mike; Moron Mike (MoMi)—all of which will fit nicely on that one thing that persuades Americans how to vote: the bumper sticker. If there is one inference from the field of candidates in any election year, it is this: American education is an oxymoron. Midget Mike knows far more than he understands. Note: I’m perfectly willing to change my mind about Bloomberg if he’ll designate me as one of his heirs.

Improve our culture and cuisine? What an arrogant piece of sh*t. The difference between what he’s talking about and my grandparents who came from Italy and entered through Ellis Island is my grandparents wanted to be Americans. Not Italian-Americans, but 100% American. And they wanted their children to be Americans.

Bloomberg is not worth the pixels…

You really do have to admire the political left in this country. They just put their heads down, chin on chest, and charge … and keep on going, like that amazing energizer bunny. For years —and I do mean going back to the 1960s, all we’ve heard from the left is that our national birthrate is killing the planet. For crying out loud, America —stop having babies! “Never fail to take advantage of a crisis, even those you create yourself.”

Now, all of a sudden, we need more people because our birthrate is insufficient to the demand in labor. Perhaps Bloomberg is using a different playbook than almost everyone else. According to the Bureau of Labor, there are well over one million unemployed people in the United States who choose not to work —and why should they? They’re on the state/federal payroll to stay home.

Now, what kind of work will these imports actually do? Would that depend on their point of origin? Is there such a demand for cab drivers that we need more folk from the Middle East or Africa? I have serious doubts that Arabs, who’ve never seen a tomato or a pasture, will want to work in agriculture. By the way, in 2018, there were 200,000 fewer farms under production in the United States from 2007 (equating to five million less acres under the plow).

Apparently, Trump has done a good job putting people back to work, no matter what ethnic group they belong to. Among those aged 25/over, male and female, third quarter of 2019, the unemployment numbers look like this: White: 2.7%; Black: 4.5%; Asian: 2.2; Hispanic: 3.1%. But we need to increase immigration?

Bloomberg must be a flipping genius.

They do keep charging… they sure don’t let facts get in their way… For all of Bloombergs money it is hard to figure out how heading out with immigration will do the trick in this race. Should we be surprised? From 2013 Michael Bloomberg is a total control freak. NYT reports:

Some of the most common and most powerful prescription painkillers on the market will be restricted sharply in the emergency rooms at New York City’s 11 public hospitals, Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg said Thursday in an effort to crack down on what he called a citywide and national epidemic of prescription drug abuse.

And that whole opioid epidemic is being brought to you by China and Mexico. Meanwhile, people with terminal cancer (like my best friend) who rely on Oxy just to function are having to jump through hoops to get their medication.

And when I hear someone use the word “diversity” I want to smack them upside the head! Savage is dead on: “borders, language, culture.”

A..anyone over 55 should have the option on pain medication… same here. I don’t even take an opiate but something else and i have to be drug tested… there are so many here in our retirement community that have had their lives up ended because they can no longer get pain medication. Some are opting for hospice… only way they can tolerate their pain..

Yea, we have “some” veterans struggling to get health care (Some are getting good care) and yet, illegals and illegal criminals get preferred status. I mean, this is total BS. How long will people put up with this crap? I was happy to see the Newsom Recall was gaining momentum in California.
