One might recall the US Senator from Tennessee, Fred Thompson. Thompson was a lawyer and film actor who was appointed to complete Al Gore’s term in the US Senate when Gore became Vice President. Thompson was a member of the Committee on Government Affairs when the committee investigated allegations that Chinese agents attempted to influence American politics through cash donations. I seem to recall that Gore was involved in accepting funds on behalf of the DNC from Chinese agents prior to Clinton’s reelection campaign in 1996. Thompson claimed that the investigation was thwarted by persons of interest who refused to testify before the committee or had left the country altogether. Beyond this, investigative reporters Bob Woodward and Brian Duffy, working for the Washington Post, discovered that the Chinese Embassy was used for coordinating contributions to the Democratic National Party. On two occasions, senior investigative agencies, including the FBI and the DOJ recommended that Janet Reno appoint an independent council to investigate fund-raising abuses by the high-ranking Democrats. Charles Krauthammer, William Safire, and Morton Kondracke all argued, along with several FBI agents, that the investigation into foreign influence in US elections was willfully impeded by ranking Democrats, including Al Gore. FBI agents were denied permission to interview Bill Clinton and Al Gore about their role in the Buddhist Temple Fund Raising event, which involved several hundreds of thousands of dollars of money from China.
This restated, I am not surprised that Pelosi has a Ukrainian hack in her employ, any more than I am surprised that Hillary Clinton surrounded herself with prominent members of the Moslem Brotherhood (given what we know about Obama’s Middle East policies), shared with them tightly held classified information, or that she accepted millions from very wealthy oil sheiks for the Clinton Foundation. I will be surprised, however, if any of this corruption see’s the light of a federal courtroom. The law only applies to regular citizens, not to the progressive elite.

Thanks for the memory….well, almost… I had forgotten that whole episode with the details… I am afraid even if they get to the point of court the jury pool will indeed reflect their peers.. But because of Trump I am trying to slog on, otherwise I, like a rat on a sinking ship would abandon this effort.

Through the years when the Democrats asked for an inch the Republicans gave them a mile. Like it or not this is a one party system and when an outsider like Trump tries to upset the Applecart this they cannot let stand. Foreigners burrowing into the government is welcome, Trump is not.

Funny how all are those same Khazars thrown out of England in the 1700’s. And out of Europe by Hitler.makes one question as in our congress all have dual citizenship. Money spends well in Israel.certainly not loyal to America. Is that just the nature of these people throughout history? Hope Kusner is not like them.
