New Rules! YouTube Banning anything critical of illegal immigration UPDATE!

There is no slowing down the loss of our rights to free speech when in the hands of a corporation. The latest in determination of what “hate Speech” is. Now a new protected class: Immigration Status.

YouTube, which is owned by Google, said it’s removing thousands of channels that violate the new policies.

Ethnicity? Nothing critical permitted opposing the suppression of Muslim women?

Immigration? Wall jumpers banned?

YouTube’s new policies will take effect immediately. Specifically, the service is banning videos “alleging that a group is superior in order to justify discrimination, segregation or exclusion.” The ban applies to a range of characteristics, including race, sexual orientation and veteran status.

YouTube’s changes follow moves from Facebook to prohibit not only white supremacy , but also white nationalism and white separatism.

Liberals cry censorship after YouTube demonetizes SPLC content

Daily Caller: Liberal activists are crying foul after YouTube’s demonetizing frenzy slammed the Southern Poverty Law Center, an organization known for labeling conservative groups as hate groups. A video SPLC [Read More]

They have been doing YouTube’s dirty work! Is this just a distraction?

You got it. The same group that said Patriot Groups marked as Hate Groups by Southern Poverty Law Center

Here is their map to their so-called “Hate Groups” –  Hate Map

Here is a list of the various groups including Christian identities – Catholics and Oath Keepers: SPLC Groups Monitored

Last August, a guest post by Mustang, filled you in on the SPLC group and what they are about – Excusing Leftist Hatred – SPLC

The left-wing nonprofit SPLC— which has more recently come under fire for labeling legitimate conservative organizations as “hate groups” — is one of the more than 100 nongovernment organizations (NGOs) and government agencies in YouTube’s “Trusted Flaggers” program, a source with knowledge of the arrangement told TheDC.

First, the flaggers are equipped with digital tools allowing them to mass flag content for review by YouTube personnel. Second, the partner groups act as guides to YouTube’s content monitors and engineers designing the algorithms policing the video platform but may lack the expertise needed to tackle a given subject.

Ca Dems trys to pass law against “fake news” creates Ministry of Truth

“California’s version of the Ministry of Truth isn’t forward-thinking, it’s akin to something out of George Orwell’s dystopian novel, “1984.”

We already have “censors” concerning social media. Now California wants to legislate the truth and chose who does this? The left has been working on this for years. They never rest.

Other than this, all is well in the swamp.

It is only a matter of time before they purge all conservative viewpoints from YouTube. It is being done incrementally and it will not stop until there is only one voice.

Simple solution; Don’t use Youtube. If it the money part that you like, be quiet and obey the rules. If it freedom of speech that you like, go elsewhere. See how easy it is.

Hi Bunker…. I think a decision is going to have to be made about whether Youtube, Google, Twitter, etc. are in the realm of the public square or whether they are private publishers. Since government money was used to develop these platforms, everyone has believed they were / are the public square where free speech is allowed. If they are now going to claim they are private publishers, the money used should be paid back to the government and their immunity from lawsuits regarding content should be yanked. Hopefully our voices will still be heard, somewhere somehow.

Nice to hear from you.. been awhile. If capitalism works the way it should, another provider should develop.. Either way, the government is watching, listening and soon will be telling all of us what we can say or do.

Something I’ve been doing for a while is, if I find a vid on YT, instead of copy and pasting their embedded code for the video to appear at my blog, is I copy the url and find and run it through an online video converter. There’s a ton of online converters out there, many will “say” ‘Download our converter’. You don’t have to do that. Click no, and proceed. The video will convert. Then download and save, and use that version to upload to your site or blog. Some online converter sites have a few pop up windows, just close them, they mean nothing. If an online converter seems troublesome, find a different one. There are many good ones out there with no pop-up windows, easy 1-2-3 steps. Enter the URL, select the format (usually MP4), select convert, wait a bit, download it. Many offer the “drag and drop” option, making it even easier. I usually grab the URL, enter it, hit “convert”, and it’s done.

When you use and publish YT vids using their embedded code, if YT decides to remove that video, it also removes the clip from your site or blog as it has THEIR embedded code, so the algo finds it and boom – it’s gone from your page as well.

Going one step better, take the video you’ve run thru a converter and run it through whatever video software you have….MS Movie Maker or whatever. Add a brief intro or closing visual like “Reproduced under Fair Use 107” and that adds another level of code that the YT “removal” algo won’t recognize when they do their mass purges.

I’ve also been looking into DTube, a YT alternative, and so far like what I see:

“Because of the decentralized nature of IPFS and the STEEM blockchain, D.Tube is not able to censor videos, nor enforce guidelines. Only the users can censor it, through the power of their upvotes and downvotes. ”

I’m not associate with DTube in any way. They just seem like a viable alternative, considering the censorship path YT is going.

Sorry to write so much, but we need to find ways around the purging done by YT.

    Hope this is helpful.
