Genocide of Christians Reaches ‘Alarming Rate’- No refuge in U.S.

While the drumbeat of Islamaphobia beats incessantly, we hear nothing about the persecution of Christians throughout the world. At the most, we get a glimpse by the media of a Christian cake baker or two, trying to practice their faith, but scant reporting as to what is happening throughout the world.

No Refuge: Persecuted Christians Entering US Dwindle to Record Low

In the 2018 fiscal year, 15,748 Christian refugees entered the country, a 36.4 percent decline from the previous year and a 55 percent decline from fiscal year 2016.

The reductions are even more dramatic among Christian refugees escaping persecution for their faith. Only 1,215 Christians were resettled from the 11 countries cited by Open Doors USA as the worst for Christians, down nearly 75 percent from the previous year.

Most disturbing is that much of the worse persecution is in the Middle East. The birth region of Jesus Christ, and from where his disciples went forth to preach his message.

The question has to be asked, why do we not hear more?

  • Many of the world’s most persecuted Christians have nothing whatsoever to do with colonialism or missionaries. Those most faced with the threat of genocide — including Syria’s and Iraq’s Assyrians or Egypt’s Copts — were Christian several centuries before the ancestors of Europe’s colonizers became Christian and went missionizing
  • The BBC report highlights “political correctness” as being especially responsible for the West’s indifference….
  • Among the worst persecutors are those that rule according to Islamic law, or Sharia — which academics such as Georgetown University’s John Esposito insist is equitable and just. In Afghanistan (ranked #2), “Christianity is not permitted to exist.”

Christian persecution ‘at near genocide levels,'” the title of a May 3 BBC report, cites a lengthy interim study ordered by British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt and led by Rev. Philip Mounstephen, the Bishop of Truro.

According to the BBC report, one in three people around the world suffer from religious persecution, with Christians being “the most persecuted religious group”. “Religion ‘is at risk of disappearing’ in some parts of the world,” it noted, and “In some regions, the level and nature of persecution is arguably coming close to meeting the international definition of genocide, according to that adopted by the UN.”

British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt is also quoted on why Western governments have been “asleep” — his word — concerning this growing epidemic:

“I think there is a misplaced worry that it is somehow colonialist to talk about a religion [Christianity] that was associated with colonial powers rather than the countries that we marched into as colonisers. That has perhaps created an awkwardness in talking about this issue—the role of missionaries was always a controversial one and that has, I think, also led some people to shy away from this topic.”

Whatever the merits of such thinking, the fact is that many of the world’s most persecuted Christians have nothing whatsoever to do with colonialism or missionaries. Those most faced with the threat of genocide — including Syria’s and Iraq’s Assyrians or Egypt’s Copts — were Christian several centuries before the ancestors of Europe’s colonizers became Christian and went missionizing. The problem with the world today is that no one, including the American people, ever played Cowboys and Moslems. We ought to start. Now personally, I’m tired of seeing our military forces being sent off to Moslemstan for no good reason. It is not in our national interests to protect Moslems from themselves. Nor should we send our troops to defend any religious order. We don’t have to do that.

We can still save the world from the filth that is Islam. We’ll call it the Mustang Plan: the next time any Moslem harms any American citizen, no matter what the reason, or damages any US property anywhere in the world, we simply remove every Moslem in that country from the face of the earth. We’d only have to do it once. After that, I’m pretty sure the remaining Moslems would begin leaving other people alone. When you think about it, the Mustang Plan is extremely humane and the planet would become a more peaceful, productive place. It would be a win-win situation for Planet Earth.

Short sweet and to the point response…. a war is to be won… that would be a good start. With the weapons that we have, there should be no doubt of our success.

I’m sorry, with all due respect to Mustang, that sounds similar to the Nazi approach to resistance members in occupied countries.
        Level the village.
There are muslims who are not out to kill us.
You may say “yet”, but I don’t want a “minority report” society.

Ed.. I know the point you are making and try to get to it. I want to agree. Then I think of WWII and my relatives that fought and were maimed for life. We leveled whole cities in Germany. It took two cities for Japan to come to their senses. I just don’t know anymore. What I do know, is that this Muslim thing will wind up killing us once they get the biological or nuclear material to do it.

If the past twenty years teaches us anything at all, it is that wars cannot be won using half- measures. I am not willing to send our young men and women into a conflict that we as a nation are unwilling to win.

I like the Mustang plan. In the meantime, islam should be declared illegal in any civilized human rights based country. islam has nothing in common with these principles and the ‘peaceful’ moslems are breeding out western cultures like rabbits while birth rates in western countries are in the tank.

We are not even becoming close to replacing ourselves… we are a dying race… and the vermin will rule the world once again if they don’t blow the whole thing up first…life has no meaning to them here on earth. Thus rational behavior can not be counted on.

No one has a God-given right to come to America. It’s time we banned Muslims until they have been fully vetted, make them go through the regular immigration process one goes through to come and attempt to stay here. Christian’s are always to be first. There have been too many cases on jihadists, overt or covert, killing, raping innocent people. “Just Say No to Islam?

Koran believing Muslims are animals (female castration, death if you try to convert, marry girls as young as six, cut off heads of people who disagree with them, bomb innocent people, etc.) and should be treated as such!

Was reading about this on another site and a person made the disgusting comment that no country is persecuting Christians. He said that these Christians are breaking the laws in whatever country they are in and they are being prosecuted for breaking the laws. No persecution, just valid and legal prosecution for breaking valid and legal laws — laws against practicing Christianity and telling people about their Christian faith.

See, no biggie according to him. These people should just stop being Christians and they won’t have a problem.
