Top Dem Lawmaker: Democrats Will Not Pass USMCA Trade Agreement

It didn’t take a crystal ball to figure out the intentions of the Democrats who soon will control the House. Always interesting for them now that they are showing their hand and how wise they are.. Mind you, not one former President in decades has attempted to right the ship regarding our trade relations.

But now, these House members, many of whom we have never heard of before, will make sure the brakes are applied to our economy. I am sure our new  “Valley Girl” Cortez will be right on board with this concept.

Otherwise filibustering Maria, he is clueless. But then, Trump does have his magic wand!

Rep. Matt Cartwright, the newly elected co-chair of the House Democratic Policy and Communications Committee (DPCC) joined Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures this morning.

Cartwright told Maria Bartiromo Democrats will not sign President Trump’s USMCA trade agreement to replace the ruinous Nafta trade agreement.

Maria Bartiromo: Just to close the loop on the USMCA, am I right to assume you will not vote for this deal as it is written right now?

Rep. Cartwright (D-PA): No, unless it is made clear somehow that this is only a temporary position, that we are going to move on to broadening its effect to the entire manufacturing sector in this country.

UPDATE: Our man on the beat, Mustang added this comment –

I love the fact that this congressman, who’s job it is to know the US Constitution, doesn’t know that the Senate, not the House, consents to treaties.

President Trump told reporters on Sunday morning he will end Nafta and give Congress the choice between his USMCA or nothing.

Democrats would rather kill the US economy and have nothing.

I interviewed a congressman Saturday (my place) who insists the House has a say.
I hope the Dems kill it.
    It’s a globalist agenda.
Thank God they hate Trump enough to miss that.

While it is true the new house will not do anything good for America, they won’t do anything bad either because it won’t pass the Senate. Impeach all they want, Trump is still here.

It’s nice to hear some tiny rumblings of indictments of those on the left, Comey, nameless others, and maybe even some clintons. Boy oh boy.

I too hear whispers of good times coming. But then I have been hearing this for some time. The great reveal that was suppose to happen on Hannity last night didn’t happen. But then again we are caught up in the funeralrama. I refuse to watch TV right now.

Agreed Bunkerville, I haven’t been able to stomach tv for two weeks now. Have been attempting to tune in to CRTV only to find out this morning that Levin merged CRTV with TheBlazeTV. Darn, I just subscribed to it three months ago. Just sent them an email canceling my subscription since there is nowhere to cancel (no doubt intentional) on their website. Thank goodness for Christmas movies.

The Democrats are putting opposing Trump ahead of doing what is best for the country. We knew this was going to happen but it doesn’t make it any easier to swallow. This is what we voted for and now we are going to get what we deserve.

With their wrangling of the election process by the Dems, its hard to know how bad it really was.Add Paul Ryan into the mix, as we didn’t get much of what was promised.
It is going to be a hard two years. But then, we got through 8 impossible years.

Democrats have deceived themselves into thinking that Trump in some way or fashion stole the election from that gosh-awful hag. By opposing Trump, Democrats oppose the will of the people. Good luck with that. That said, however, I suspect that at this very moment, there are meetings underway all across America trying to figure out how much fraud will be necessary to win the 2020 election.

Thanks for the reminder Mustang and thanks to Bunker for reminding us that 2018 not 2020 was or is the final beginning of the end; for real this time…. while we may also give credit to the late not so great Bush I for laying down in 1992 for his future step son Bubba who began our death of a thousand cuts.

Darn. I was loaded for bear, ready to give it to what would be the beginning of a do-nothing House term.

Now, you’ve transformed them into a know-nothing House. Additionally, I will bet that (with Mad Maxine Water’s “impeach, impeach, impeach”) they will still be a do-nothing House.

Just another reason to high five the Americans fools who voted in the anti-American House. Next on the Rino agenda is for the Senate to lay back while the Democrat propaganda machine switches into high gear and rios them a new a-hole. While we survived, barely, eight years of Obama 2020 may be the year the american voters give away the farm, forever.

Side note: 2.8% COLA increase in SS pension payments along with a $28 increase n Part B premium; a wash for most recipients. Meanwhile illegals will continue to get a free health care ride. Bend over….
