Sunday Respite – Beethoven’s silence

For today’s respite, I chose Beethoven’s Silence by Ernesto Cortazar. We sure need a break. Autumn is winding down here, what there was of it. Very late this year. The oaks seemed to just turn a bit brown then fall to the ground. A few beautiful Maples gives us a glimpse into the beauty of the fall colors.

Wishing you a wonderful day. You may prefer to watch the video in full screen.

I need to rush and will come back to see what looks like a GORGEOUS video (thank you!) but saw the title of your post and wanted to quickly say it hit me HARD “Beethoven” and “Silence” because when I was in Bonn with Mr. Z, we went to B’s birthplace and there were glass cases of paraphernalia that had belonged to him. One was his large trumpet-like hearing aid….and another brought tears to my husband and my eyes…it was the actual letter in which he wrote telling his brother “I believe I am going deaf, please do not tell anyone what I am telling you…” Talk about emotional.

Interesting because I forgot about his deafness and wondered about the title… sad indeed.

It’s been raining and windy here…with all the rain we have had, the colors are finally popping through, albeit, most of the trees are bare naked now. Have a beautiful day friend.
