Kashoggi – Have you had enough of it?

Air Force officials announced the next chapter in a partnership with the Royal Saudi Air Force

Have you had enough?  I have.  It is time for news reporting, harping, and commentary as it relates to the murder of Jamal Kashoggi to end.  Without making any judgment about Kashoggi as a person, how is his demise at the hands of the Saudi government any business of the United States —particularly since the alleged crime was committed in Turkey, within the Saudi Embassy, and not within any US territory or facility?

I am no fan of the Saudis (or any other Middle Eastern cesspool), but I have to wonder if our idiot journalists and equally foolish politicians are aware that every Islamic culture in the world is barbaric.

These are people who continue living in the 7th Century.  Now then, after twenty or more years of watching (or being aware of) the beheading of non-Moslems and/or the death by hanging of homosexuals, should anyone on the planet be surprised to learn that Saudi thugs have murdered a dissident and then dismantled his body to hide the murder?  Are we so naïve to imagine that we can hold the Saudis or any other Islamist society to a higher (Judeo-Christian) standard —or more to the point, that the Saudis even care what we think?  Well, in my view, anyone who thinks that we can hold a barbaric culture to a higher standard is unrealistic and immature.

It is true that the Kashoggi murder was outrageous —but then, many behaviors within the cloak of Islamism are.

It is not as if horrible things never happen within our own borders.  Discounting leftists, we should expect that nearly every American will agree that Kate Steinle’s murder was a tragedy of epic proportions.  We hated what happened, even though not everyone agreed that justice was served or that José Inez García Zárate (AKA Juan Francisco López-Sánchez) received a correct sentence —but the government and defendant had their day in court.  The case of Kate Steinle was an internal matter, appropriately addressed within the body of American jurisprudence, none of which is the business of foreign press, commentators, or half-baked politicians —and had any of these interests demanded of US authorities an accounting of the Steinle murder, I daresay that the American people would have been livid— and rightly so.

Whatever the events involving Kashoggi in Turkey, this is a matter between the Turks and Saudis.  If the Saudis have in fact arrested those responsible for the murder, then it is up to them to seek a just resolution —and it is none of America’s business.  It is time to let it go …

Something to do with the left’s love affair with the muslim brotherhood…and you are right on….”anything to put Trump in a bind.” I think the bone cutter is for the Freddie Kruger crowd and didn’t likely happen. Probably hanging by his ankles in a dungeon somewhere while MBS tries to clean house. There seems to be a power struggle going on between princes…MBZ vs. MBS….so who the heck knows, but I’m sick of the violins and hand wringing, too.

It must have something to do with the guy working for WaPo maybe? Then you have the human garbage dem suggesting the guy was on Trump’s hit list. Geeeezus, when you have a population of 40+ % imbeciles you have politicians spouting nonsense like this not to mention crappy products being sold on TV with having to pay for the second free item with exorbident handling charges, not to mention these unbelievably crap political ads on TV. Who makes a voting decision based on that s*? 🙂

I can only imagine how Einstein felt living in America.

am I mean to say I don’t give a crap about it? And I find Rand Paul ridiculous to suggest it’s we who pick the leader of Saudi Arabia? As if this is the first time the Saudis have crossed the line in violence? Where were they when they cut hands off of penny-ante thieves?
By the way, did you all read how Paul Krugman of the NY Times is lamenting that Trump won’t accept the Midterms if we lose? Have you ever EVER heard anything more IRONIC than THAT?

I read a comment on gab that states the author is convinced JK was a CIA asset and was killed at the president’s previous demand (via Kushner) to get rid of the bad actors. In light of the now common knowledge that McCain was involved personally with ISIS I can believe this.

One less terror-supporting “Brother” to worry about.

    Exactly my position, Mustang.

I’ve gotten into verbal battles over this with one of my best friends. Thus far, she cannot see this matter the same way that you or I do.

America needs to give up the idea of being the world’s police force.

You’re spot on Bunker. And it goes without saying that practically no one, including Kashoggi’s employer, The Washington Post, even feigned outrage that our own government, i.e., Hillary Clinton and Obama, as good as murdered the Benghazi four. The Saudis didn’t threaten to cut off our oil pending an investigation and bringing to justice those responsible for Ambassador Steven’s death and the death of the three other Americans. It was none of their business although they may have in some way funded the terrorists. The hypocrisy runs deep.

Anything to put Trump in a bind… so are we going to start being the arbiter of third rate dictators as to who lives who dies? Remember Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood? The Clintonistas were willing to sell out Egypt for a body or two.

I’ve always thought that we westerners should take everything we know about the Arabs, arrange all this information chronologically and thematically, highlight all the interesting parts, make multiple copies, and then set the entire mess on fire … because the bottom line is that westerners don’t know a damned thing about how the Arab mind works. I think this is true because the Arab mind is not in good working condition. Western governments have not demonstrated any seriousness in dealing with Arabs. I seriously doubt that we’ve ever sent an Arab-speaking ambassador the Middle East. Two things that really bother me: first, that even though these people are mental midgets, they’re still able to out-smart most western diplomats, and second, I detest the fact that they’re laughing at us nearly every single day.

My opinion is that Paul Bremer was a complete disaster for the US effort in Iraq. Whether he was an Arab speaker, I don’t know. I can say that his incompetence led to a substantial increase in US casualties. I blame him for his naïveté, his refusal to listen to the American generals, and I blame Bush for the political disaster that is now firmly within the Iranian tent. Diplomatically, the stakes are far too high for “close”. Close is no cigar.

John Brennan should be in jail. I’ve read that Brennan is a moslem, but whether he speaks the lingo or not, who knows?

LEt’s call it the “Benghazi Three”. Stevens was and anti-American, Pro-terror, Hillary-Obama operative and deserves no pity.

If you mourn for Stevens you are supporting those who attacked the U.S. on 9-11-2001 and Steven’s bosses and mentors..Barack Hussein Obama & Hillary Clinton.

It is a calculated stab at Trump.
They are trying to force him to justifying maintaining relations with Saudi Arabia.
He’s damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t.
Khashoggi committed suicide when you walked into that consulate. He knew he probably wasn’t coming out.

You and I are on the same page…why not bring body guards if he was so worried he told someone waiting for him to call someone if he didn’t come out? Doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.

Spot on Ed. These people are mental midgets. Imagine wrapping yourself in a vest of high explosives, intending to murder innocent people, and all the while thinking that God will be merciful. Or—walking into a Saudi embassy knowing that you’ve managed to piss off the crown prince and thinking that you’ll just talk about your differences over a spot of tea. IMO, it’s a seriously damaged gene pool.

God is merciful after all like I tell my daily going to church friends that I, who last went to church when my youngest son made his confirmation in 1997, will end up in the same place as them. Not that my friends is a merciful God. 😇
