Prosecutor who questioned Ford, shreds her case against Kavanaugh in memo

I for one, dismissed the Prosecutor, Rachel Mitchell, out of hand regarding her questioning of Ford. It appeared Mitchell wandered to no point but I missed it entirely. Looking back, that is what prosecutors do. Lead them on then slam the door. I was not alone. Many thought she acted as if it were a deposition. Nope. Do read the whole thing over at the Daily Wire. I am dismayed that this isn’t getting the attention it so richly deserves. The party line is that we are sure something happened to her, it just wasn’t Kavanaugh. Read this.. it won’t disappoint. Two posts today, earlier catch Mustang’s post: Do You want to live forever?

Rachel Mitchell, the prosecutor who questioned Christine Blasey Ford last week during a hearing in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, wrote a five-page memo that was released on Sunday that outlines why she would not bring criminal charges against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

Mitchell’s memo notes nine significant problems with Ford’s testimony and underscores that her case is “even weaker” than a “he said, she said” case.

“A ‘he said, she said’ case is incredibly difficult to prove,” Mitchell states. “But this case is even weaker than that. Dr. Ford identified other witnesses to the event, and those witnesses either refuted her allegations or failed to corroborate them. For the reasons discussed below, I do not think that a reasonable prosecutor would bring this case based on the evidence before the Committee. Nor do I believe that this evidence is sufficient to satisfy the prosecutor.

1. Dr. Ford has not offered a consistent account of when the alleged assault happened,

She lays bare why she thinks so.

The following 8 points are even more devastating.

Ford’s story is so full of holes it’s a pair of fishnet stockings.

She lied in the hearing about why she put a second front door in her home. She said it was because she was claustrophobic from BK’s attack and that she and her husband were fighting about the door — lie, lie, lie. Pictures of her home in 2011 show the 2nd front door and it was installed because she was accepting renters in her home. Local ordinances require a 2nd entrance if a home owner is renting a room in their home.

Everything she said was a lie — everything.

Democrats are digging their own graves with this partisan nonsense, chasing millions of voters from their core constituencies to the Republican side with their unprofessional behavior.

What caused many, myself included, was Mitchell’s not burying The Barbie doll despite the many opportunities to do so. But we now know the Dems had a shallow grave dug in ready for her and the anti-women republicans had she done so. We are left to hope common sense and republican backbone save the day. Notice I didn’t call for the truth to prevail since an American courtroom is one of the last places it is to be found given the corruption of our illegal system.

I didn’t see the prosecutor but I did hear she was not very good but this memo looks pretty devastating to the so-called victim. I am reading conflicting accounts of the FBI investigation. One report says it is “expanding” to more people and another one says it could be done tomorrow. If it is done tomorrow I would have to think the FBI couldn’t find anything.

She only had five minutes each round then back to the Dems…so it appeared to make no sense. Meanwhile it now appears she was hammering out the discrepencies of her remarks. Clever… I sure didn’t see it.
I hope they go full bore and investigate all three women. Yes, mixed bag if it closes out tomorrow. I hope so.

Again I say, I think B K will be confirmed. Both Dems & GOP must justify their senate jobs…both looking good to their people who continue to vote them into office over & over. (Which I can’t understand a lot of times)…and FBI is also making up a good front to the American people.

She (ford) continuez-z-z to live her fantasy world & Ms. Mitchell nailed it. Will have to go read her paper now.

Read a lot of comments today about white man hate by most on this hearing/accusation….either they’re too young or wish to ignore Clarence Thomas and Anita Hill!!

I agree. It is a puzzle to me, that the polls as reported seem even as far as whether he should be confirmed. I don’t trust the polls, but too many people seem to want to throw him under the bus.

I was shocked and surprised but very happy when Mitchell mentioned Mitt Romney in 2012 🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊

That’s when the hit on Kavanaugh began

I do have a curious wonder though about a guy by the name of Garrett

If the information out there is true and accurate Garrett who was a good buddy of Kavanaugh was also during the summer of 1982 dating Ford

He must know a lot about little miss “I only had 1 beer” 🍺🍻🍺🍻🍺🍻🍺🍻🍺🍻🍺🍻🍺

Now that’s a hoot.. if true he can amplify the yearbook of hers.. For some reason it got scrubbed off the internet, but wild when I caught it. I didn’t copy the pics because of copyright. The little squeaky little girl maybe not so squeaky clean. In the end, she just may have met her match. This cheers me up.. I thought this memo from the prosecutor was a great bonus. She only got to question the “victim” in 5 minute segments, but she knew where she was going. Made no sense at the time and I was an old paralegal in the beginning of my life. 🙂
