What’s it all about? Kavanaugh or an Obama Phone?

In the future this will be known as the week that was. What’s it all about Alfie? Kavanaugh? Or more of the swamp?

Great comments yesterday on my post:

….’1000s and 1000s and 1000s of Trump supports at everyone of his rallies.’

Surely we are on the side of being fired up. Yes the deplorables – red bloodied Americans “get’ what this Kavanaugh issue is about. It has nothing to do with Kavanaugh but for the heart and soul of our Republic. The Constitution.  We love our God and Guns. Independence. Less government interference. The Deep State beckons.

Then:

….but the cities….festering with their mouths open for another “I want me an Obama Phone” and much much more.

Another month or so we will know.

I’m afraid Republican voters have gotten to the point where they don’t care any more and want to teach the Republicans a lesson. There is still the possibility that the Republican voters will be so upset with what has happened they will show up at the polls to vote out the establishment hoping the new comers will actually support the President.

So, Peter and I were sitting in a bar just outside Newark and this ethnic woman came in mouthing off about wanting a free iPhone. Princely fellow that he is, Peter slid off the bar stool, said, “I’ll be your Huckleberry,” and then proceeded to shove his phone right up her … um. Well, anyway, she got what she wanted and that’s how Peter became Citizen of the Year. To my knowledge, he never got his phone back … but that’s probably a good thing.
