Trump’s legal team’s epic fail – meet John Dowd

If you have any questions how Trump’s legal team got themselves into such a mess with Mueller, look no further than this fellow John Dowd. The good news is that after the damage was done as far as strategy and giving away the store, he left back in March 2018. The bad news? I will let you take a look-see.. and it’s not easy on the eyes.

We had the good fortune of hearing the setup this past week when Hannity dragged Dowd out from under a rock to explain his thinking. Dowd thought he could trust Mueller and had a handshake on it? He’s disappointed?

I can’t say he is in much better shape with media hog Rudy, who never let’s a minute go without being noticed.

Dowd, who has urged the President to cooperate with special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe and resist attacking him publicly, resigned as his disagreements with Trump intensified and the President stepped up his attacks on the special counsel. His departure raises questions about the direction of Trump’s legal strategy and could signal a more aggressive posture on Trump’s part. (You think??) H/t: CNN

PS, Giuliani says Trump will NOT answer obstruction questions. The President Can Fire Anyone He Wants without explaining it to anyone. 10 seconds later Giuliani say Trump may answer some obstruction questions. Clown Show.

    Trump – Get a Competent Lawyer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow… I wondered because I saw two different posts and thought what is this… thanks for the non clarification. His pick of his legal team does make me question how astute is the man.. at least as far as lawyers… but as the saying goes,, Representing oneself is a fools errand…and Trump may think he is wise enough to call the shots.

Bunk, Maybe most lawyers are democrats. There is a lot to suggest this, the biggest (to me) being why did Tort Reform go the way of the dodo after Trump was elected? Once again, I think it may be very hard to find a competent lawyer – willing to go to bat on the Conservative side of things. ?

Tort Reform would have cost the lawyers super big bucks… the dollar talks.

Yea, there is a line in that Bobby Swaggert movie Shooter, from the federal AG I believe. “Street justice isn’t legal, but sometimes it is all that works.”

Or Dirty Harry. Or Death Wish. Lots of variations on a theme. I just don’t think our justice system is sufficiently motivated or focused.

I’d say the ratio of Competent Intelligent lawyers to the entire population of lawyers is less than 1%. I shoulda been a friggin lawyer. Or a politician, which is little more than a failed lawyer. Imagine being a failure in a huge population of dumbass failures and having to go into politics as a result.

I am old enough to remember when Lawyers actually were considered to be in a profession that was respected.. Silly… Anyone who has been involved in litigation- I have- know what a farse it is… Endless delays encouraged by the Judge and lawyers to keep having to pay the piper. Truth, Justice has little to do with it.

I have to agree with the lawyer jerk (is that an oxymoron?!!HA!) that Trump needs to stop quite SO much screeching about the WITCH HUNT of Mueller……I know he feels people need the truth, and what president would be constantly saying it’s NOT TRUE if there was any truth in it…I mean, to know you’re going to be found out, who’d DO that?
BUT, there are so many classy screechy ways of doing it…and so far, I haven’t seen any.

If I were Trump I’d just constantly say , to questions from the media..”Man, is that STILL going ON? (little smile) Five MILLION so far and no resolution? Tsk tsk tsk…………..” smile again and MOVE ON. Man, would that stump that dayumed media.

Trump is Trump and why in the world did this lawyer ever get into it with Mueler…his lawyer should have taken on Mueller from the beginning.

I question the judgment of anyone who thinks its a good idea to cooperate with the government. Prosecutors aren’t looking for justice; they’re looking for convictions because convictions is what makes prosecutorial careers.

Naive would be an understatement. Does make me wonder….how he could come up with this clown. Especially knowing the crew Mueller had lined up. What did he think they were going to do?
