Did the McCain Funeralrama come down to Bush giving Michelle a piece of candy?

The American oligarchs came together as planned for the McCain funeralrama that went on for days. In the end, the memorable point of the exercise for most Americans came down to a few seconds of Bush handing over a piece of candy to Michelle Obama. See, we can all get along.

Forget that the point, in this orchestrated piece of theatre, was simply to continue the coup of our sitting President. That’s it. That’s all it took to win Twitter for the day. Did the World miss the point?

Those four seconds of footage have been circulated around TV news stations to ‘ooh’s and ‘ahh’s of fawning establishment pundits yammering incessantly about how the death of War Hero John McCain™ has let everyone Put Aside Our Political Differences™ and Come Together As Americans™ to celebrate the life of a man who dedicated his entire political career to sowing death, suffering and devastation at every opportunity.

Because that’s how compartmentalized Americans are from the reality of what war is and what it means. The explosions, the screams, the charred and shredded human bodies, the chaos and displacement and all the suffering, terrorism, slavery and rape that necessarily always comes with it, the million Iraqis killed under Bush, the unfathomable humanitarian disasters created in Libya and Syria under Obama, all the devastation created in all the military interventions McCain helped push for, all of that is so peripheral and distant in American consciousness that it can be dismissed with a wave of the hand and a piece of fucking candy.

And it isn’t really their fault. The more woke Americans who’ve grown to resent their brainwashed countrymen hate it when I say this, but it isn’t. It’s not a coincidence that the nation with the most powerful military in the history of civilization and the most billionaires in the history of civilization also happens to have the most sophisticated propaganda system in the history of civilization, and that propaganda system is pointed at them from a very early age to normalize the war machine that is used to protect the empire of the billionaires.

If John McCain in death represents the best and brightest that this nation has to offer, then our nation sits on a precipice of a fathomless abyss.

How does anyone have an ego so large as to plan this funeral before his own death to last 4 days, traveling across the country and ending with his daughter making a political front of it.

You think his giving Michelle that candy was orchestrated? Or am I missing something!?
What made me curious was how the news handled the photographs of that ‘cute’ little exchange…….it is NOT a picture from that funeral, they’re using other shots of Bush hugging Michelle at another event. How weird is THAT? WHY?….Like they couldn’t just get a screen shot from the video and honestly presented it?

I was referring to the whole week which was totally orchestrated, down to the seating. Which by the way, included Rosenstein, Trump’s nemesis , sitting a row or two behind Ivanka and Jared.
We are being played… they all come from the same cloth..

I don’t think Ivanka and Jared are any part of the same cloth as Rosenstein, but I agree that this whole thing was orchestrated…if by nobody else but McCain, who planned everything down to the music, from what I heard……

        Hey Geez,
I believe The I girl and Jared are straddling the fence knowing this November could spell disaster for the weasel ferret lemmings- I mean republicans. If that happens poppy will be a lame duck and the Dems will not bring articles of impeachment but leave him blowing and bloviating in the wind for the next two years. If the republicans hold on in November then these two get credit for showing respect for the dead guy.

Hi, Peter! I think they did the right thing to go to the funeral…..I think they get credit regardless. And I don’t think for a second we’ll hold on in November and it will be partly due to Trump’s behavior surrounding the McCain death. I keep hearing military people saying their friends are humiliated, angry and “won’t vote for Trump again”. The ONE THING Trump needs to do is not lose his base…….cuz he hasn’t much left at this point.

Agreed. He holds the record for shooting one’s self in the foot repeatedly. While he has made some giant strides correcting Obama’s destructive economic agenda, thus progress and other successes kept hidden from the public by the media and catastrophic WH PR, he does little to help himself with his inarticulate tweeting. Unlike those in the left who would vote for Bozo the clown if he was a leftist democrat we republicans/conservatives won’t necessarily vote for a buffoon.

The horror along with the sudden flush of love most Americans felt for their fellow countrymen following the slaughter of 3,000 innocents on 9/11 was short lived followed by a near total desensitization thanks to the.media, the politicians, the monied elites. the injustice system and good old political correctness fostered by all of them. Should a limited war of sorts reach our shores a billion dollar memorial with a $50 admission fee will replace whatever horror is felt initially. Been to NYC lately? The show must go on….

As the years go on, we may come to realize that “our friends” the Saudi’s and others of of their ilk, simply play the fiddle and we dance to the fiddler’s tune.
It truly is the theatre of the absurd.
