Happy Labor Day! MAGA – Thanks Donald!

Wishing everyone a wonderful Labor Day. As we celebrate work today, let’s give a shout-out to the man who has given us an economy that is booming and so much winning! Back to politics tomorrow, let’s enjoy today.

I’ll throw in Leroy Anderson’s Typewriter song…I remember one of my first job’s where this “antique” instrument held me captive..some great photographs included.

And for any women in Labor, I hope it went extremely well and resulted in a healthy beautiful baby.

P.S. Happy Labor Day!!! And we have so much to celebrate!!!

My company was one of the ones which passed down to its employees what it saved under President Trump’s tax cuts. They are hiring over 11,000 new people and investing over $500 million (billion?) in raises, training, and education for current employees.

The company’s new starting wage is $11.75. That’s the starting wage. Everyone making minimum got an immediate $3 raise. Let me tell you…it makes a difference!!!

When we were told of the raise, one of my co-workers – single girl in her mid-twenties who just purchased a house – actually teared up. She was so excited she started crying.

Of course most of my co-workers are either anti-Trump or just apathetic about politics.

Wow such good news and congrats… compared to Obamacare which cost me my job in healthcare.. and the old fart voted no to repeal it..don’t get me started.

I’m so sorry about that Bunker. If the old fart is McCain, yes, he was a rat bastard for lying to his constituents and voting no on the repeal.

I was reading an article about McCain and his lying, reneging vote on the obamacare repeal. The article noted how obamacare forever and irreparably changed for the worse the healthcare industry in our Country.

Funny thought… I never heard about carpal tunnel in those days!!! All those college papers which would have been so much better with cut and paste..

I’m so glad I don’t have to use those torture devices. I took typing my junior year in high school. We used electric typewriters. I passed the class, but I still have no clue how to actually use a typewriter — setting the margins, the tabs, the spacing, etc., etc. And the typos…oh the typos — I won’t even go into that issue.

Happy Labor Day, Bunk. Loved both videos.

Used to have a Royal Portable when I was young – I should say rather my parents had a Royal that they let me use. Learned to type in high school on a Selectric (didn’t we all?) I wonder what would happen if you went to a Starcrap’s and whipped out a Royal and starting banging away?

Now that made me laugh! I started with a the manual… I must be a few years older… then the selectric– I think it had a correction key? I remember all that white out, and those little papers one put over a bad letter… Oh, I am feeling old.. Back at you– have a great day.
