Songbird McCain Sings No More – His Toyko Rose circa 1969 audio

Just who was John McCain? I for one am done with the McCain extravaganza. Let’s take a look at a few myths. First his song and then a bit of his life. What we are watching is the making of a myth.

Apparently this recording was not released officially by the US Government, but was discovered inadvertently by someone searching through the US Archives and was mislabeled as something else. Notes to follow.

Transcript: To the Vietnamese people and the Government of the DRVN I’m John Sydney McCain 624787, Lieutenant Commander US Navy. Born 29 August 1936 Panama, home state (unaudible) Shot down 26 October 1967 A4 Aircraft.

I as a US Airman am Guilty of Crimes against the Vietnamese country and people. I have bombed their cities, towns and villages and caused many injuries, even death to the people of Vietnam. I was captured in the Capitol of Hanoi while attacking it.

After I was captured I was (inaudible) for the hospital in Hanoi where I received very good medical treatement. I was given an operation on my leg which allowed me to walk again and a cast on my right arm which was badly broken in three places.

The doctors were very good and they knew a great deal about the practice of medicine. I remained in the hospital for sometime and regained much of my health and strength. Since I arrived in the camp of detention, I have received humane and (inaudible) treatment. I received this good treatment and food, even though I came here as an aggressor and the people who I injured have much difficulty in their living standards.

I wish to express my deep gratitude for my kind treatment and I will never forget this kindness extended to me.

How about a little about his first wife? Written when he was running for President.

The wife U.S. Republican John McCain callously left behind

McCain likes to illustrate his moral fibre by referring to his five years as a prisoner-of-war in Vietnam. And to demonstrate his commitment to family values, the 71-year-old former US Navy pilot pays warm tribute to his beautiful blonde wife, Cindy, with whom he has four children.

But there is another Mrs McCain who casts a ghostly shadow over the Senator’s presidential campaign. She is seldom seen and rarely written about, despite being mother to McCain’s three eldest children.

And yet, had events turned out differently, it would be she, rather than Cindy, who would be vying to be First Lady. She is McCain’s first wife, Carol, who was a famous beauty and a successful swimwear model when they married in 1965. …snip

But when McCain returned to America in 1973 to a fanfare of publicity and a handshake from Richard Nixon, he discovered his wife had been disfigured in a terrible car crash three years earlier. Her car had skidded on icy roads into a telegraph pole on Christmas Eve, 1969. Her pelvis and one arm were shattered by the impact and she suffered massive internal injuries.

For nearly 30 years, Carol has maintained a dignified silence about the accident, McCain and their divorce. But last week at the bungalow where she now lives at Virginia Beach, a faded seaside resort 200 miles south of Washington, she told The Mail on Sunday how McCain divorced her in 1980 and married Cindy, 18 years his junior and the heir to an Arizona brewing fortune, just one month later.

Snip

‘My marriage ended because John McCain didn’t want to be 40, he wanted to be 25. You know that happens…it just does.’

Some of McCain’s acquaintances are less forgiving, however. They portray the politician as a self-centred womaniser who effectively abandoned his crippled wife to ‘play the field’. They accuse him of finally settling on Cindy, a former rodeo beauty queen, for financial reasons.

McCain was then earning little more than £25,000 a year as a naval officer, while his new father-in-law, Jim Hensley, was a multi-millionaire who had impeccable political connections.

He first met Carol in the Fifties while he was at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis. He was a privileged, but rebellious scion of one of America’s most distinguished military dynasties – his father and grandfather were both admirals.

But setting out to have a good time, the young McCain hung out with a group of young officers who called themselves the ‘Bad Bunch’.

His primary interest was women and his conquests ranged from a knife-wielding floozy nicknamed ‘Marie, the Flame of Florida’ to a tobacco heiress.Fulls story at Daily Mail

Then let’s throw this in for good measure:

John McCain and George Soros – happy together, won’t say where $6 Mil came from

What we do know, thanks to an investigation by The Daily Caller, is that the McCain Institute for International Leadership received a VERY GENEROUS donation from none other than George Soros.

The institute is intended to serve as a “legacy” for McCain. It “is dedicated to advancing human rights, dignity, democracy and freedom”. It is also a tax-exempt non-profit foundation with assets valued at $8.1 million and associated with Arizona State University.

John McCain turned over nearly $9 million in unspent funds from his failed 2008 presidential campaign to a new foundation bearing his name, the McCain Institute for International Leadership.

I can think of nothing good to say about this treasonous ——-.

Neither can anyone else as all you’ve gotten from them is meaningless platitudes. NOTHING specific.

Just the fact it’s the democrats, Lyin Ryan, and Mitch McChuckles trying to saint the man that should tell us something.

Next stop Sainthood… I am sick to death of this whole charade. All week. Put together by a nasty man whose sole intention was to create controversy. Dissing Sarah and not inviting her as well as Trump. This wandering casket circus will end soon one hopes.

You know if he wasn’t anti-Trump, this wouldn’t have lasted 1 minute in the media. That’s the real problem.
I’ll bet if you said Herpes was anti-Trump, all the libtards would be on google trying to find out how to get infected.

I believe McCain has said publicly that one of his great regrets is being forced to say those words, that he let them break him through torture. I am NOT A McCAIN FAN AT ALL, but I do pity anybody who had THREE YEARS in solitary confinement.

I just commented this at GeeeZ: Dagin McDowell (or whatever her name is on FOX) just said ‘…as Americans REMEMBER WHO HE WAS”….and I said aloud…”….and remember WHO HE WASN’T” !! Gad, he was NOT A SAINT!!! A lot remember him for things many disagree with, find even abhorrent about!
ALSO: Steve Hilton, the Brit on his very ironically named THE NEXT REVOLUTION….said the other night “…when we return, we will MOCK THE PASSING OF JOHN MCCAIN” and I looked up in astonishment, and realized he’d meant/said “MARK THE PASSING” but his Brit accent sounded like MOCK THE PASSING! That still cracks me up when I think of it!

Do all other senators get this amazing treatment? Of course, had he and Trump not despised each other publicly, maybe CNN and other leftwing McCain sycophants wouldn’t be touting him QUITE so much. The constant inferences abound: “McCain was one who saw two sides of things…always told the truth……understood foreign policy….unlike what we have now….” Etc. SO TICKS ME OFF!!

The media is practically calling him Saint McCain…After all, it was he who sent the Dossier around and had a heavy hand in what we are up against now. Add Obamacare and I have no use for the man.
This is his scripted road show and I for one am sick totally of it…thus the post. Note how this sound bite was “misfiled.” sure….The media had nothing good to say when up against Obama.

Couldn’t agree with you more. Yes, ‘misfiled,’ but he did apparently regret it. MISFILED because he probably blocked it! And the media hated him against Obama…but now LOVE McCAIN because McCain was “So much better than anything-Trump” What BS.
You just had to hear Steve Hilton’s Brit accent sound like he was going to “MAHK” McCain’s passing 🙂 Mark definitely because MOCK with the accent…stunned me then made me laugh out loud!
Don’t you think a British talk show host in America who calls his show the NEXT REVOLUTION is ironic? It’s not like we didn’t have a REVOLUTION against the Brits!!

Point taken Z! He rode on his POW status for his entire life. OK. Sorry McCain, but many never had even the chance to come back alive.. Guess you figure this has hit a nerve for me.

Third from the bottom in his class at the Naval Academy, which said it all.. Made it while using others, than becoming a nasty resentful old man.

I did laugh at his sense of humor, however….Lindsey Graham says McCain told him he wished he’d been at the Naval Academy with him, “then I’d have been sixth from the bottom of my class!” (I believe he was actually FIFTH!!)!!

Tiered if the real world, this morning I surfed MSLSD and the Communist news channel (CNN). While Mika led the charge of anti-Trump hate mongers in extrapolating a Trump supporters rant of “enemy of the people” into Trump being a communist, CNN continued its all McCain all the time programming. If they had their way the songbird would replace Jesus at the right hand of God. Enough already.
