Hillary Clinton’s interference in Putin’s election and his revenge

Reports of Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election have dominated the headlines. But this wasn’t the first time Vladimir Putin and Hillary Clinton faced off over an election and its fallout.

You see, Putin was clear-eyed about how the Obama and Clinton operated with their cronies in arms- Susan Rice, and Samantha Power as they lay waste to a number of elected governments. We will look at six interferences perpetrated against governments. Putin was no fool.

Then the unspeakable happened. Hillary decided to take on Putin as he was up for re-election.

Here is a scene from part one of “Putin’s Revenge,” an epic FRONTLINE documentary from “The Choice 2016” examining Putin’s rise, rule and motivations, and the American responses. Two parts of the program are available on YouTube.

What’s more, all the protestations about Russian interference in the US 2016 elections  when compared to previous US interference in Russian elections is small change.  Remember TIME magazine’s cover and report of July 15th, 1996? That was yesterdays post:

Recall when Bill Clinton meddled in Russian Election? Putin extracts revenge?

Let’s get back to Hillary and Obama.

The Guardian points out that “Americans can spot election meddling because they’ve been doing it for years“.

According to research by political scientist Dov Levin, the US and the USSR/Russia together intervened no less than 117 times in foreign elections between 1946 and 2000, or “one out of every nine competitive, national-level executive elections”.

Indeed, one cannot understand US-Russian relations today without acknowledging America’s role in the internal affairs of its defeated cold war foe.

Yeltsin relied on US political strategists – including a former aide to Bill Clinton – who had a direct line back to the White House. When Yeltsin eventually won, the cover of Time magazine was “Yanks to the rescue: The secret story of how American advisers helped Yeltsin win”.

Without the chaos and deprivations of the US-backed Yeltsin era, Putinism would surely not have established itself. But it’s not just Russia by any means, for the record of US intervention in the internal affairs of foreign democracies is extensive.

There’s more at the link.  Do read the piece. It does a fine job of what happened after Bill Clinton came into power:

As soon as Bill Clinton assumed the White House in 1993, his experts discussed “formulating a policy of American tutelage”, including unabashed partisan support for President Boris Yeltsin. “Political missionaries and evangelists, usually called ‘advisers’, spread across Russia in the early and mid-1990s,” notes Cohen: many were funded by the US government. (With disastrous results.)

Quite a bit of information there, great job! That video is very interesting, I always wondered why Putin would prefer Trump over Hillary. It never made sense to me but know it looks like Putin didn’t really prefer Trump but had payback in mind for Hillary. And by the way what hypocrites these people are who are complaining about Russia after all the US has done in foreign elections.

I think the post got a bit too long, but I was on a roll and so sick of these psychotic Senators who know better and know the full deal.. Especially the Dems who sit on the Intelligence committees

It got long but not too long, there was quite a bit that needed to be written. When it comes to the Clinton’s there is a never-ending well to draw from!

    Interference in foreign elections?
    Ask Mosaddeq. Oh, he’s dead.
    Ask Allende. Oh he’s dead.
Ask Ngo Dinh Diem and his brother Ngo Dinh Nhu. Oh they’re dead.
Ask João Goulart. Oh he’s dead.

How proud I am that the American people elected a Luo tribalist as their president … twice. I support Trump if for no other reason than he is not infected with that dreaded disease, Americus Politicianus. As for the possibility that Russians made inferences about Hillary on social media that cost her the election … really … what could they possibly say about her that isn’t in fact true? She is the witch of Endor and if we were still burning witches at the stake, we could resolve our politician problem once and for all in one weekend.

Mustang…this story was my “tell” that this rascal was a marxist muslim..it was out early just when I started blogging. After all, he was a Senator when he was making his pilgrimages to visit his “family. Better yet, he supported Bernie Sanders over the Dem candidate for Senator. It was all there but never reported.
I beat on the story forever…in my search bar all one needs to do is put Kenya in there..Valerie of course was along for the ride.
At this point the psychotic outrage that Trump should have beaten up Putin for whatever, what nonsense. We are in it up to our ears.

No one is making any effort to understand how we got from there to here….and Trump can reveal it all if he so choses.

I am hoping he does. Not that anyone/MSM will listen…I think in general, folks have a short memory when it comes to our interference in things.

and if Trump does not, why not?

This story would kill the media…the first time I heard about this Putin hate for Hillary it was clear that at least a big part of whatever meddling happened was aimed at HER…yes, for Trump to win. Or for Cruz to win had he won the primary, or Rubio, had he. This would destroy the 24/7 CNN narrative. (Ssshhhhh!!)

My hunch is that Putin and Trump had the “man to man” talk…look, they both know what the deal is and Trump wasn’t going down the trail of its the Russia Russia Russia…then what about us?
Everyone does it…time for all these wacko politicos to get off their high horse and call it what it is….China is the one to be concerned about IMO
