Songbird John McCain sings circa 1969 – the transcript and audio

Apparently it is all right for John McCain to shoot slings and arrows as the light dims for his life, but we are suppose to take it? Another General bites the dust at Fox for speaking his miind. Some say the confession was false, you be the judge.

A Fox spokeswoman said Friday that McInerney will no longer be allowed on the network.

Also Thursday, a White House official dismissed McCain’s opposition to President Donald Trump’s CIA nominee by saying it didn’t matter because McCain is dying anyway. McCain is fighting brain cancer.

Now Songbird McCain

Notes from the clip:

Apparently this recording was not released officially by the US Government, but was discovered inadvertently by someone searching through the US Archives and was mislabeled as something else. Transcript: To the Vietnamese people and the Government of the DRVN I’m John Sydney McCain 624787, Lieutenant Commander US Navy. Born 29 August 1936 Panama, home state (unaudible) Shot down 26 October 1967 A4 Aircraft. I as a US Airman am Guilty of Crimes against the Vietnamese country and people. I have bombed their cities, towns and villages and caused many injuries, even death to the people of Vietnam. I was captured in the Capitol of Hanoi while attacking it. After I was captured I was (inaudible) for the hospital in Hanoi where I received very good medical treatement. I was given an operation on my leg which allowed me to walk again and a cast on my right arm which was badly broken in three places. The doctors were very good and they knew a great deal about the practice of medicine. I remained in the hospital for sometime and regained much of my health and strength. Since I arrived in the camp of detention, I have received humane and (inaudible) treatment. I received this good treament and food, even though I came here as an aggressor and the people who I injured have much difficulty in their living standards. I wish to express my deep gratitude for my kind treatment and I will never forget this kindness extended to me.

In my view, McCain’s statement in 1969 was a boiler plate … he was reading from a North Vietnamese script. Hard to say the punishments he endured to the point where endurance was no longer possible. I think the US government fully realized the statement for what it was … and I think the statement was buried intentionally when McCain realized that the had political aspirations. I’ve never thought much of McCain; he was an under-achiever if ever there was one, and it does make sense to me that someone like that would seek a political career given that the Navy passed him by for flag rank. I also think that since he entered politics, he has served himself far more than he’s served the interests of his country and the American people. He is sleaze and this will be his legacy.

I agree Mustang. He has played the victim to the hilt. This is not to denigrate him but rather to remind of so many who gave so much and never traded off of it for gain. Yes, I have no doubt that his “confession” was deliberately misfiled. His father was behind his political ambitions as I recall. Now we have his offspring to deal with.

I have always heard conflicting stories about McCain and what happened after he was captured so I have tried to withhold judgement. I had never heard this audio before so thank you for sharing it.
I wonder if there is more out there, now that I know this much I have to believe there is more and it is probably more damning than this is!

There are those who were captured with him claim it is true and worse. I happened to hear it last night on the radio. I can’t believe that Youtube hasn’t removed it.

I’m trying not to make comparisons between McCain and my father who lost his battle with prostate cancer on Dec. 28, 2017.

As hard as it is to believe, I know that McCain is loved by some people.

I consider him a traitor. He betrayed his oath, the Constitution, and the Country.

He is beyond selfish to continue as a senator when he has brain cancer – an illness which could be affecting his behavior.

For the good of his constituents and the Country, he should have resigned long ago. However, he can only think of himself.

I would be willing to “blame” his latest remarks on his brain cancer if this were a change in his behavior. I have thought that by now his family should be limiting his remarks. But he has a book now, and of course any nastiness will be blamed on the “ghost writer” whoever that may be and whose own political views will no doubt be in full display.

Burning bridges has a brand new meaning, don’t it? (please excuse the southern slang)—I’ll tell you, I’m sad for Charles Payne having to recite that…and I am sad for General McInerney , call it was it is; a spade is a spade, right? It sickens me to death over this “pc” culture, having to apologize etc.

I have absolutely no use for McCain, never have, never will. Who knows how a person being tortured will act to get the enemy to let up or not kill them. Just saying.

If he sang, he sang. It is his arrogance and lies that are despicable. He and his twin Graham’s time needs to end. Of course, John will not resign so we could have a real GOPer in, no he will drag it out.

How the hell could this bought and paid for skunk, this hater of many things conservative belong to the same Arizona Republican establishment that gave our country the late great Senator Barry Goldwater? The rhetorical question of the day is why do the voters of a state over run by illegals, illegals given a green light to invade by McCain continue to keep him in office?
