Trey Gowdy, Judge Napalitano flip on Trump – ‘Mueller doing it by the book’

MSNBC via Morning Joe and Mika, CNN, CBS, et al, were ecstatic with the Trey Gowdy road show. He is making the rounds on TV with his take on the Mueller investigation.

Mueller is “following the book” with his investigation so he says.

Gowdy is packing up his swamp bags this year and calling it a day as far as Congress goes. Just setting himself up for the usual big bucks to follow. Gowdy.

I thought he was one of the good guys. But then, that is what I thought about Sessions. Even worse, Napalitano was more than happy to flip as well.  His comment that Gowdy had seen  the documents apparently thus changed his mind, when in fact nothing was produced last Friday. Just the Swamps view of the world.

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) recently suggested the FBI did nothing wrong when it used at least one government informant to secretly collect information on Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

Public reports indicate, however, that Gowdy never even reviewed the relevant documents on the matter subpoenaed by Congress. In fact, a spokeswoman for Gowdy told The Federalist that the congressman doesn’t even know what documents and records were subpoenaed by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI).

The briefing Gowdy and other lawmakers attended was scheduled at the behest of the White House after the Department of Justice (DOJ) obstructed the subpoena.

Activists and journalists were thrilled with Gowdy’s comments exonerating the FBI, claiming they “debunked” any concerns that people have about FBI behavior. CNN’s Manu Raju claimed, without providing evidence, that Gowdy had “seen the intel.”

Here we have Napolitano on Gowdy’s disputing of Trump’s ‘spygate’ claims. Included clips from the field day the MSM is having with it.

Valerie Jarrett on ‘Teachable Moments’

Let’s just say that Valerie Jarrett is not my favorite character from olden days. That said, Roseanne Barr did us no favors with her remarks she made regarding Val. It only proves what racists we are since we support Trump. Deplorable. Irredeemable. But what the heck, its been a year since I got to do a post on our gal… Thanks to everyone who has discovered my old posts. My Stats are booming says Word Press. Please leave respectful comments. Here are a couple:

Valerie Jarrett’s Father-in-Law Head of Communist Youth

Here is the “Teachable Moment” from Val Jar circa 2014. I made the prescient remark,

“Too bad we cannot require her to testify before Congress. Bet we would have the answers to all the scandals.” Oh yes we would.

Valerie is always watching

Regarding Roseanne Barr:

Valerie Jarrett broke her silence on Roseanne Barr Tuesday after the actress attacked her looks. “The Roseanne Show” was canceled by ABC after the star said that Jarrett looks like if the “Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby.”

Jarrett called the attacks a “teaching moment” in a clip from an MSNBC special on race relations that airs Tuesday night.

Here is one from WikiLeaks I picked out that does an analysis of the killing of Osama. It’s about what we figured. Val was running the shop.

Dozens of former Obama staffers running for office to oppose Trump

Little bomblets being planted into our government. 28 alone running for Congress. As if we haven’t endured enough. They never rest:

Dozens of former Obama administration officials are running for office this year, largely in opposition to President Trump and his policies, NBC News reported Sunday.

At least 64 former Obama staffers are running for federal, state or local office this year, according to the network, which cited numbers obtained from the Obama Alumni Association.

The group said it expects that number to rise as more Obama alums contact it about their bids. Some states also have yet to hold primaries, giving more former staffers the chance to announce campaigns.

At least 28 of those Obama officials are running for the House of Representatives, according to NBC News, which said five have won their primaries so far and one has lost.

Many of the candidates told the network that Trump and his administration motivated them to run for office.

Memorial Day – ‘Bugler’s Holiday’

We remember all those who have given so much so that we may have a day with friends and family. It seems fitting to honor the humble “Bugler Boy.”

Here is presented “Bugler’s Holiday” by Leroy Anderson, composed in 1954. This is the original version played by Leroy Anderson and the Boston Pops Orchestra’

Wishing everyone an enjoyable day.

Sunday Respite – The Phantom Regiment

For today’s Sunday Respite  I chose  “The Phantom Regiment” composed by Leroy Anderson in 1951.

The theme is a nameless body of soldiers approaching from a distance to the sound of trumpets. The nearer they draw, the louder the music sounds until finally the regiment draws away into the distance.

The accompanying photographs are in a similar aspect showing marching regiments from around the world……

Wishing everyone a wonderful day.

‘The Final Year’ film exposes Obama team and their foreign policy naivety

How about a film review for a sleepy Saturday on a holiday weekend? I had heard that this documentary was in the works months ago. That being following around the Obama team the last year of his administration. Apparently it is about to hit HBO, however there has been a limited screen showing. I read they cover Samantha Power and her coming to terms with their loss. I for one am looking forward to it. I’ll throw in a couple of clips. Ben Rhodes is a laugher.

Quoting Weasel Zippers: This is by turns hilarious, yet also incredibly sad to think that this is the flummoxed administration we were saddled with for 8 years.

Free Beacon:

Ben Rhodes sputters incoherently at the end of “The Final Year,” the documentary about former President Barack Obama’s foreign policy team and their diplomatic efforts throughout 2016.

He’s rendered speechless by an event he says wasn’t going to happen during the film: The election of Donald Trump.

Yet throughout the documentary, he’s also flummoxed by finding out Vladimir Putin isn’t out to promote what the U.S. thinks Russia’s interests are, the media’s response to his pronouncement that they were stupid rubes suckered into promoting the Iran nuclear deal, people who think climate change isn’t a bigger threat than Islamic terrorism, and at one point, getting into the back seat of a van.

Quoting the New York Post

In a moment of woeful irony in the Obama-administration documentary “The Final Year,” UN Ambassador Samantha Power travels to Cameroon to offer photo-op comfort to families terrorized by Boko Haram — only to have her motorcade kill a 7-year-old boy.

Greg Barker, the director of this fan film, does his best to downplay the accident: It is discussed while we watch a clip of Power’s convoy moving at a crawl when in fact it was reportedly traveling at over 60 miles an hour when it struck the boy.

But to understand why Rhodes and Obama are so pleased with their foreign policy, you have to understand the way they think. The documentary is revealing about that.

Naïvety, meet arrogance. These were the guiding forces behind the Rhodes-Obama foreign policy. The arrogance came in thinking that all previous administrations were too thick to come up with this awesome idea Rhodes had: Military force is bad.

Snip…

….but it’s Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes who has the most amusing reaction to Donald Trump’s victory.

Asked whether a Trump administration might endanger his accomplishments, he says, “I’ve never really considered that.” So what does the speechwriter and former aspiring novelist have to say when Trump wins? “I mean, uh, I can’t even [long pause] I can’t, I ca - - [long pause] I mean I, I can’t, I can’t, I can’t put it into words. I don’t know what the words are.”

Was Lolita Express Jeffrey Epstein an informant for Mueller’s FBI?

Famed Lolita Express Jeffrey Epstein was an informant. For what? Another creep in the quick sand of the swamp that seems to deepen every day.

For something different, let’s change it up for a Friday with this post! Tape is from 2017.

Was pedophile Jeffrey Epstein an informant for Mueller’s FBI? From the 5/24/18 FBI Vault release: “Epstein has also provided information to the FBI as agree upon.” Is that why he escaped serious charges for molesting over twenty girls? H/T:  News Alert
