Sunday Respite – Tina Turner ‘Peace Mantra’

For today’s Sunday Respite, Tina Turner “Sarvesham Svastir Bhavatu” – Peace Mantra. It seems fitting for all that we have been through this week. I find the piece a wonderful way to be in a good place. Wishing everyone a wonderful Sunday.

Very beautiful. That prayer is what people in the fly-over country of every nation wants. Too bad none of the elite wants it for all and not just for themselves.
I had no idea Tina Turner sung it. What memories you bring about this Sunday morning. Ike and Tina was my favorite to hear when they were played on the radio while riding around in my baby blue ’52 Ford coupe. And my favorite song from ’56-’57. 🙂

Oops! Artists mixed up this morning. Things get mixed up in old age. 🙂 Thanks for the memories though. 🙂
