Uranium One Informant spills the beans yesterday to congress, no recording taken

I searched high and low for a story on the block buster testimony of the FBI informant that testified for over four hours yesterday at a joint Committee meeting of three commiittees. What piqued my special interest was the minimum time Hannity gave to it last night when they had the Informants attorney on,Victoria Toensing. He gave her all of two minutes. Sara Carter gave some time to it, but why have her speak on it? But what was clarified later on Fox in a 20 second spot this morning – “There was no written or recorded testimony taken.” Bingo. Full stop on that one. So I give you this which as far as I am concerned is the one story we can nail Hillary for sure.  So why no recorded testimony? She stated the committees could not agree on the recording. I am including a clip done at the end of November describing how she was preparing her client. Fat lot of good it did apparently. Buried once more. Hannity you should be ashamed. Here is what “The Hill” got ahold of.

A FBI informant connected to the Uranium One controversy told three congressional committees in a written statement that Moscow routed millions of dollars to America with the expectation it would be used to benefit Bill Clinton‘s charitable efforts while Secretary of State Hillary Clinton quarterbacks a “reset” in US-Russian relations.

The informant, Douglas Campbell, said in the statement obtained by The Hill that he was told by Russian nuclear executives that Moscow had hired the American lobbying firm APCO Worldwide specifically because it was in position to influence the Obama administration, and more specifically Hillary Clinton.

Campbell said Russian nuclear officials “told me at various times that they expected APCO to apply a portion of the $3 million annual lobbying fee it was receiving from the Russians to provide in-kind support for the Clinton’s Global Initiative,” he added in the testimony.

“The contract called for four payments of $750,000 over twelve months. APCO was expected to give assistance free of charge to the Clinton Global Initiative as part of their effort to create a favorable environment to ensure the Obama administration made affirmative decisions on everything from Uranium One to the U.S.-Russia Civilian Nuclear Cooperation agreement. “ Full story at The Hill

Thank you for clearing things up, Bunkerville. In between distractions this week and a major wordpress.org fail, I searched and searched and searched for footage on the hearing and couldn’t find any. Until I read your post (above), I had attributed my inability to find footage on frustration with other matters.

Indeed, this is a Hannity fail which is why I sometimes become so frustrated with this guy. How is it that no one wants to give the Uranium One crime against America the time that it deserves? This needs to be exposed and there must be accountability. Sheesh!

How curious (to me) that Democrats (as Americans) are not enraged by these allegations. I must be missing an important aspect of the DNC.

Thanks for reporting this. I also hope to have something up about this either tonight or tomorrow. I guess it is up to the micro-bloggers to keep this story alive–the MSM isn’t interested…

He testified for over four hours yet gave a written statement. Was the statement just a launching point for the discussion?
    #release the statement. 🙂
