Maybe these facts represent why the NFL players find rules hard to follow and a chip on their shoulder for being arrested by the police. Maybe it’s time for the NFL to let their bad boys go for good:
The National Football League is in a golden age right now: It’s been 23 days since one of its players has been arrested. Update: One arrested yesterday. Here is the handy-dandy arrest chart NFL Arrests
The average time between arrests is just seven days, while the record without an arrest is slightly more than two months, at 65 days, according to Arrests which “provides an interactive visualized database of National Football League player Arrests & Charges,” the site says.
Players get arrested for a variety of crimes: drunk driving, drug offenses, domestic violence, assault and battery, gun violations, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, theft, burglary, rape and even murder.
The NFL virtually embraces players who abuse women. Take this report in the Chicago Tribune: “In the first round [of the 2017 draft], the Oakland Raiders drafted Gareon Conley, who has been accused of rape. In the second round, the Cincinnati Bengals selected Joe Mixon, who in a much-viewed video punches a woman so hard that she falls down unconscious. In the sixth round, the Cleveland Browns selected Caleb Brantley, who was accused of doing pretty much what Mixon did.”
The most arrests: Adam Jones, with 10. Jones has played for both Tennessee and Cincinnati, and he’s been accused of poking a hotel worker in the eye, punching a woman, spitting in a woman’s face at a nightclub, and was “charged with felony coercion in connection to strip club shooting that paralyzed a man” (take a look at all his arrests here).
The top positions of those arrested:
- Wide receiver – 140
- Linebacker – 119
- Cornerback – 116
- Running back – 99
- Defensive tackle – 80

Past time to bring down the NFL. This is all just so ridiculous. They are like 10-year-olds who have never had any discipline.

Spoiled indeed… apparently they have lost the fact as to who it is that pays their freight. They ought to look at the color of their fan base in the stands.

GREAT post Bunks …
If indicators mean anything, then perhaps it is time that all of us re-think what we believe we know about professional sports. Let’s see … for the most part we have immature young men being paid an insane amount of money to play a game —one involving an orb of some diameter. As already stated, the bigger the ball, the blacker the player. If one can believe the news, then a large percentage of these “men” enjoy slapping women around —and their children; it makes them feel as though they’re in control, but in reality the opposite is true. They also do things such inane things as fight animals (dogs, roosters, and who knows … maybe even rattlesnakes and mongooses).
There is also a lot of dishonesty in professional/collegiate sports, such as when “student athletes” are compensated to play their silly little games. Wanting a piece of the action, some of these yahoos actually want to form unions, if you can believe that. Maybe college athletics is about everything except learning something.
Seriously, are we at all surprised to learn that these “athletes” are low class scum who weren’t smart enough to get into college without a free ride through the athletic department? They’ll get picked up by a professional franchise in a few years … making bushel baskets of money, but with character as low as their IQ, their life will remain in the toilet. And no one in America saw this coming? No one saw the likely consequence of placing morons on a pedestal, of telling them over and over how great they are, even to the extent of glorifying these imbeciles to our own children? Right … the idiot Lawrence Tailor was a great example to our children, or Johnny Manziel, or the latest batch of morons.
So, now we have these beneficiaries of mainstream society’s unhealthy obsession with college and professional games —most of them black, by the way— accusing America of racism and refusing even to stand during the National Anthem. If anything, professional and collegiate sports is a snapshot of America’s darkest side (no pun intended). Don’t blame the athletes, blame those who are willing to spend obscene amounts of money to perpetuate this nonsense.
By the way, should anyone be interested in observing a great bunch of TRUE athletes, they should visit the nearest Marine Corps base and observe the training that goes on there every single day. If anyone deserves the support of the American public, these are those men.

Amen Mustang. Isn’t professional sports the cesspool from which arose the term “rewarding mediocrity?” Playoffs comprised of teams unable to fight their way out of a paper bag with tickets selling for obscene amounts that only the stupid and the wealthy will pay? Someone had to ante up for those player salaries. Meanwhile private groups have to solicit donations from we the overtaxed payers to provide services and equipment for our wounded and maimed soldiers making $25,000 per year. But lest we deprive Mrs Obama and 60 of her closest friends a taxpayer funded two week overseas vacation costing tens if not hundreds of millions, a sum that could have paid for a few thousand of those special wheelchairs costing $15,000 each. The world is truly upside down where the true heroes suffer and die for lack of money while thugs, pampered since per wee football days are showered with obscene riches approved by a fawning public. But take heart. Soon we will have gov’t healthcare that will make the VA seem golden in comparison. Our pro athletes of course need not participate; with their salaries they can buy their own hospital.

Excellent point Mustang,
I worked with an attorney a while back who had access to the sportsbooks (can’t recall actual name) of NFL and NBA athletes. As we went through the books checking out the salary of these guys, I thought to myself that there is not one other field on the planet in which they could earn that much money. I also recall saying to the attorney that the salaries and perks were far more than any athlete should be paid.
They’re a bunch of undeserving whining jackasses.

200 NFL idiots took a knee this weekend. Result? A Media frenzy, left wing pride, right wing outrage.
In Chicago, criminals took 11 lives this weekend, shooting 37.
Any Thoughts?
And please don’t give me your Slavery Bull Shits as an excuse.

A buddy of mine played for the NY Giants, a defensive lineman, from 1966-1979. He never committed a crime. The salaries then and now…. His NFL pension is $3,000 and change.Where’s the NFL pension fund’s COLA for these guys who made in a season what today’s hate America-hate Trump players make ten times over in one game? Piss on these overpaid, cry babies with their millions that they can’t waste fast enough, and how many of these bums revisit the government engendered intergenerational poverty their “communities” wallow in. Where is their concern, their helping hand? How about demonstrating against the democrat plantation they escaped from but their “bruthas and sistas can’t escape from? Instead were on the road to “black professional athletes lives matter.”

Here’s one for the books: Former NFL commissioner and millionaire lawyer Paul Tagliabu grew up in Jersey city next door to my ex-wife. He graduated from St Michael’s High School in Union City, NJ, in 1958. In 1988 my ex-wife’s cousin, who graduated with the soon to be NFL Commissioner was in charge of their 30 year class reunion and Tagluabu was asked to give a speech at the affair’s cocktail hour. The tickets were $70.00 per person. Prior to the event Paul’s wife Chan called to ask if she and her hubby could pay $35.00 each since they were only staying for the cocktail hour. ( I’m only surprised he didn’t ask for a speaking fee- oops, he’s not a Clinton) this may come off as anecdotal but it’s true. I DJ’ed the affair! They are all money hungry rats from the commissioner on down! As they say in the hood about the white folk ” If there was a dollar on the moon they’d build a rocket ship to go get it.”

Hey Hocus,
After doing the peeing dog yoga move in the end zone Odell Jr. (surely Odell Sr. is a proud papa) then gave the black power fist to the cheering white fans in the stands. It escaped them that he would have pissed on those jerks who pay his salary if he could.

It’s time to rethink the NFL
Not only by the crimes they commit
Not only by their violence against women
Not only about their hatred of America
But also…
The American TaxPayers Money that is in the BILLIONS of DOLLARS 💰💰💰
That build and renovate the NFL stadiums
And it’s about time the Tax Exempt status the NFL has comes to an end
The NFL owners collect ALL the MONEY made by ticket sales ~ t-shirts ~ caps etc
And pocket every red cent ¢¢¢ for themselves
There’s a very olde saying…I’m sure you all have heard it by now
Don’t bite the hand that feeds you!

Lifted his right leg like a peeing dog at the end zone 🏈

There was a time that sports figures were supposed to be role models for our youth! No more.
Babe Ruth’s case of venereal disease complicated by excessive alcohol consumption was not publicly revealed at the time. He was sidelined for “the big bellyache.” Sure, many adults knew the truth, but they thought it best not to allow that aspect of the Babe’s life to influence his adoring youthful fans. My father was about 13 years old at that time (the 1924-1925 season baseball season), and a professional baseball player clued him in; Dad had been hanging around Griffith Stadium in D.C. and got to know a lot of the players quite well.

I didn’t know about the V.D. But heroes were heroes . Who are the role models for kids? Especially inner city… this is what they have, a bunch of thugs who don’t treat women very well for the most part apparently.
