De Blasio rushes to G20 summit to join anarchists

The only thing that could have been more absurd was to have Obama attend the G-20 in his more comfortable role as Community Organizer. At first I thought this had to be The Onion, but no. This on the heels of the murdering of a police officer.

Police and protesters clashed ahead of the G20 summit in Germany Thursday, with riot gear-clad cops swarming the streets to block the 10,000-strong crowd with water cannons. What could be better than to have de Blasio join in?

Mayor de Blasio on Thursday skipped an NYPD swearing-in ceremony made somber by this week’s assassination of a cop — then hours later revealed he was busy preparing to jet off on a surprise trip to join leftist protesters at the G-20 summit in Germany.

Hizzoner’s overseas jaunt was kept under wraps until just 90 minutes before he took off from Newark Airport.

A last-minute announcement said he “will attend several events surrounding the G-20 Summit, including Saturday’s Hamburg Zeigt Haltung rally.”

The mayor also made sure the free trip will include a visit with his son, Dante, a Yale University student who’s spending the summer on an internship in Berlin, a City Hall spokesman said.

Presumptive Republican challenger Nicole Malliotakis accused de Blasio of abandoning pressing issues in the Big Apple to pursue his progressive agenda in Europe.

Thanks for the link, Bunk…check this out “Police protect the rights of demonstrators objecting to the G20 summit, Mayor de Blasio said Saturday in a speech to a Hamburg, Germany protest rally of tens of thousands of people.”

WHAT? Didn’t he know that approximately 160 police were INJURED by the demonstrators? is that THEIR RIGHT? Or is it what cops are supposed to expect even as they PROTECT RIGHTS? WHat a ridiculous comment.

“Our right to protest is directly related to the fact that our police protect us,” the mayor said. A tweet from de Blasio’s press secretary said the line drew loud applause.”
    He’s nuts.

Then he says this: “He hailed the German parliament’s recent decision to legalize gay marriage. “It wasn’t the choice of some politicians. But the people made it happen,” de Blasio said.”

I read that and thought “yes, and that’s pretty much what happened with Trump’s election…it wasn’t DeBlasio’s CHOICE but the people made it happen,” But he ignores that, of course….wow

Fabulous image, Bunkerville..!! I wonder how New York City-ites feel about paying for this trip? Except I hate to think of him getting to drink that delicious German food and beer! 🙂
It’s all an outrage…I hope they’re covering it in NY TV news…they’ve barely mentioned it anywhere…and people should know an American mayor went to protest with anarchists in Europe…..Probably getting paid by Soros for this, too.

As a resident of Bergen County, NJ and the NY/NJ/CT Tri-state area I can assure you that Mayor de Blasio, even as NYC has regressed into the hell hole it was in the 70’s and early 80’s, under his leadership, is unbeatable in the coming Nivember election. NYC is a democrat cesspool, Crime, education, economics, all an embarrassment in a sane and rational world will have no impact on his re-election. He will be running againstTrump, a winning strategy in today’s wreck if a third world city, NYC.

I detest De Blasio and everything he stands for; I think, however, that I detest everyone who voted for him even more.
