Keith Ellison ‘Resistance Summer going awesome’ day after loss

I am enjoying the “WINNING” thanks to the Donald. When I caught Muslim Keith Ellison’s remarks over at the Beacon, I thought this is great, the Democrats think they are winning too. He also opines his support for his Nancy Pelosi. What a wonderful world! At this rate, the GOP will rule for life. I’ll spare you the clip of Ellison’s remarks, wander over to the Beacon to see it. One day after his party suffered a loss in the Georgia special House election, Democratic National Committee vice-chairman Rep. Keith Ellison (D., Minn.) announced that his party’s “Resistance Summer” is “going awesome.”

Ellison, a rising star in the Democratic party’s progressive wing who narrowly lost a race for DNC chair in February, was speaking to a DNC Live event on Wednesday night.

“First of all ‘resistance summer’ is going awesome,” Ellison said in an interview with Neera Tanden of the Center for American Progress. “It’s going well. The Democratic Party is on the move. We are getting across this country. We are fighting every single day.”

(Local Democrat official to me this morning: “What the hell is wrong with all the polls?? We can’t win anything! The Democrat brand is dead!”)

His comments came the day after Democrat Jon Ossoff lost to Republican Karen Handel in the special House election in Georgia’s sixth Congressional district. This left Democrats zero for four in special elections since last November, in spite of $35 million in spending.
