Rush on Budget fiasco: ‘Why is anybody voting Republican, if this is what happens when we win

Where to even start on the budget. I was going to focus on the Coup de grâce:

Paul Ryan Expands H-2B Blue-Collar Outsourcing Program for 2017
Breitbart:

The H-2B language was hidden deep in the draft 2017 supplemental budget — which is to face House and Senate votes this week — and it surprised opponents of the legislation. In December 2016, Ryan had agreed to trim the program when the partial 2017 budget deal was announced just one month after blue-collar voters backed Donald Trump’s campaign promise of a low-immigration, high-wage national economic policy.

But this clip of Rush Limbaugh doing his thing wraps up the whole fiasco.

Hot Air:

…What if his main concern is popularity, in the form of averting any shutdowns for which he might be blamed, instead of major policy gains?

But the dirty little secret is that there isn’t any evidence that anywhere in Washington is there any aspect of the Trump agenda on display. It doesn’t seem to be that in the House of Representatives that there is a desire to implement any of the Trump agenda. It doesn’t seem in the Senate that there is a desire to implement any of the Trump agenda. It does seem in the House that there is a lot of energy devoted to stopping a Trump agenda. Ditto in the Senate…

This budget is a direct slap in the face. This budget is a stop sign. And it’s throwing down the gauntlet. “You may be elected president, but you’re not getting anything. Nothing’s gonna happen here.” And if Donald Trump cannot rely on the members of his own party — are you really telling me we can’t get a replace and repeal Obamacare bill after all this time? And I don’t mean since Trump won the election; I’m talking about since it was passed seven years ago, six, whatever it is now…

I’m telling you, folks, the will isn’t there. The establishment, whatever you want to call this bunch of people, the ruling class, the establishment, the donors, whatever you want to call ’em, they’re not just gonna roll over and let Trump implement those things that he campaigned on just because he won the office, just because he won the presidency. And he’s going to have to overcome this if he’s going to be successful. And the way he’s going to have overcome it, he’s going to have to have his own staff, legislative staff in the White House that writes this legislation and muscles its way through…

I have to think he knows better than I do, better than anybody else does, ’cause he’s living it. I don’t know what his expectations were. I can believe that he expected the Republicans were gonna be deliriously happy at his victory and deliriously happy to work with him, and I fully think that he expected the Republicans to be on his team and that they would be working together to get a whole lot of this stuff done to fix and repair America and stop this descending trend that our country is in.

It’s almost as if he’s been stabbed in the back. If only there was some way the executive could block a terrible bill from becoming law. Any ideas?

I am convinced that Trump is, in the words of the late great Bob Grant, is a fake, phony, fraud. As a campaigner he was able to go before massive rallies and before the nation and put Fat Ass and her party in their place. Now as president with the bully pulpit he is unable to tell it like it is as regards the left, the left wing media and the democrats, what they are up to and their misrepresentations of what was supposed to be his agenda, healthcare in particular. How about the simplistic example that women are being denied their $10 p/month of birth control pills around which a leftwing women’s movement is growing and growing. Massive entitlement growth, the border wall, the HB1 visas, the invasion by terrorist harboring middle east immigrants, billions more $’s for the greatest military might ever seen on the planet that can’t beat the dirty nightshirt Nike wearing ISIS sand monkeys in a week, with or without the help of allies? But have no fear we the great unwashed, working with both parties the minority left is having their way while offshore drilling and the Keystone pipeline are the scraps given to the right. Why ask any longer, Trump where are you, because we can be pretty sure we now know.

Having his daughter and son-in-law move in was a “tell” that all was not well for me. I will give him to do his September thingy with the budget. But I just read that PBS and such now is funded past 2018…two years ahead. Many are yanking our chain. Oh, Comey is suppose to he at a hearing today. Hope the tube carries it. No doubt why the witch was out yesterday yaking.

Yes, and when Rush has had enough of it and Trump it is saying something..We went down this walk a couple of times before. Now it is because we need 60 Senators. The Dems always could figure it all. This may finish the GOP

I’ve learned a little from the folks commenting at geeeZ today…including you, by the way. So, after hearing the news this morning, my commenters cheered me a bit…I DO have hopes for October’s budget…..I’m hoping Ryan’s given in on some of this so he can keep the gov’t open and POUNCE in Oct.. Mulvany this morning was saying how MUCH he knew the Dems wanted this gov’t to shut down so they could pile it on Trump again…HARD.
Still, I’m VERY disheartened at the VISA situation, the planned parenthood ignore, the sanctuary cities not getting dumped MOST bugs me……….

I am with you Z. I just don’t see the Dems giving in at all. Threaten them with the nuclear option is the best bet I guess.

When both political parties are identical in their behavior, there is little reason to bother with voting at all. Ah, but if you happen to be a politician, isn’t this preferable? A politician is more likely to achieve reelection if fewer people turn out to vote. It’s the Potomac Two Step. I personally think we either need to have another revolution or send a letter of apology to Queen Elizabeth.

Mr. Trump: you wanted to lead, so lead an assault on the RINOs in the House.

Having been raised in a Progressive city, immersed in a cesspool of Communists and illegal aliens, the worst thing that we could do is to fold because we are frustrated.

Once we have stopped giving a damn, the saying comes into play, “You think you’ve had enough? We’re just getting started.”

Trust me. There is a reason that NY sucks so. New Yorkers stopped giving a damn 20 plus years ago and what we’re stuck with stinks so bad, it’s unbearable.

The PRIMARY reason that NYC has been fundamentally transformed into a shit shack (pardon my language) is because at least 65% did not go out to vote in 2014.

That 65% did not vote because they felt that their one hope, the great change agent, let them down. Little did the mindless dweebs realize that as bad as they thought it was for them that it could get worse and get worse it did.

I apologize for the rant. Guess that I’ve been holding this one in for a while now.

Yes, you are right. The frustration mounts at this absurdity. First we needed the House, then if we had the Senate, then President- now 60 senators. Funny the Dems figured a way and even now manage to rule the roost. I will buck up and live for another day! Thanks !!

The Republicans as they have for the past eight years and as Progressives have for fifty years are playing us. They are working together to deny the working man a few extra dollars in his pocket, a job, food on the table, an affordable healthcare plan, home our liberties according to the U. S. Constitution.

The war against Christians is intentional. If they can turn us away from God’s law then we’re done. In this, the DC elites will fail.
