Meet the new owner of United Airlines UPDATE

Meet the new owner of United Airlines. I know it’s not funny. It’s good at least that most Americans find the action of United abhorrent.  I include a parody of a United Airlines training film

Doctor dragged off United flight was felon who traded prescription drugs for secret gay sex with his patient and took them himself – and he needed anger management, was ‘not forthright’ and had control issues, psychiatrist found

  • Dr David Dao’s troubled medical past is revealed in court documents
  • His wife – also a doctor – reported him to medical authorities and his secret inappropriate gay relationship.

I’d read your information in an article emailed from a friend earlier today; was not surprised that the news isn’t including it, except that he’d had some problem with his license, which was given back. NONE of this really awful stuff.
BUnkerville, I hear it’s only a four hour drive from Chicago to Louisville….why didn’t they? SOmeone said they’d offered everyone $800 to get off the plane. Compared to what they’re going to owe THIS GUY (and probably 20 on that flight who said they’re traumatized from just watching it!!!! ) they should have offered EIGHT THOUSAND bucks!!

Good point Z… But recall they would have had to stay in Chicago overnite!! Probably lose their bags…they were already on the plane. Why not send their employees by car? That is the real kicker.. I read that someone said they would get off for $1500 and they laughed at him.

Oh, I agree…except $8000 is a lot of money just to have to spend a night in Chicago! And I think the best solution would have been for the crew to be driven to Louisville…except to then get on a plane would be tough.
No way would anybody accept $800…but EIGHT THOU? A family of 3, perhaps? That’s $24,000!

I know it is not funny also but some of the memes on FB today were pretty funny. I shared that “training video” on FB earlier today, I could not help myself…

It was deplorable to drag anyone off like that but you just knew that there was more to it. With the Dr. babbling ‘just kill me’ United had to know this was not going away anytime soon. That hash that was suppose to be an apology was bad enough. Now with this guys mental issues, United will be in the news longer than they ever wanted to be!

I highly doubt his patients would have suffered if he had taken a later flight. He should have gotten off the darn plane. And next time United needs to be more careful about how they “de-plane” someone.

    Utterly reprehensible.

    However….

I’m sure that some where in all the gobbledy-gook that is printed on a ticket, website, wherever, all airlines cover their butts for just this occasion. The airlines are private businesses. Just as other businesses may eject patrons, so may airlines – it’s their plane.

Fault on both sides in this situation. I don’t think the man has grounds to sue. Maaaaybe for the injury, but not for being removed.

I was watching O’Reilly last night and he had a guest on from Flyers Rights, it seems once you board a plane, you loose your constitutional rights. I find what they did that to that man, deplorable, all for 4 crew members who had to get to St. Louis…sad, sad, sad. Grant it, the man didn’t help his case, but come on, just to pull people off because of supposedly “Over crowding?” reallyyyyyyy. I have a feeling there is more to the story…and its not going to look good for United.
