Bill Kristol’s candidate David French says ‘White Working Class Communities deserve to die’

Watch as Bill Kristol the presumptive ass of the GOP makes the dreams of the Dems come to fruition. You think that the GOP represents anyone other than that of the self serving political class? Think no more. Thanks Bill, now go back in your hole

While Donald Trump has called on the GOP to become a “worker’s party”— a development Sen. Jeff Sessions called for two years ago, ironically, in the pages of the National Review— French has defended the idea that white working-class communities “deserve to die.”

Specifically, French wrote a piece in support of Kevin D. Williamson, who had said:

The truth about these dysfunctional, downscale communities is that they deserve to die. Economically, they are negative assets. Morally, they are indefensible. Forget all your cheap theatrical Bruce Springsteen crap. Forget your sanctimony about struggling Rust Belt factory towns and your conspiracy theories about the wily Orientals stealing our jobs. Forget your goddamned gypsum, and, if he has a problem with that, forget Ed Burke, too. The white American underclass is in thrall to a vicious, selfish culture whose main products are misery and used heroin needles. Donald Trump’s speeches make them feel good. So does OxyContin. What they need isn’t analgesics, literal or political. They need real opportunity, which means that they need real change, which means that they need U-Haul.

French described Williamson’s piece as “excellent” and said that Williamson’s words were “fundamentally true and important to say.”

French went on to dismiss the struggles white working class Americans endure.

“Citizens of the world’s most prosperous nation, they face challenges — of course — but no true calamities,” French wrote.

While French suggests that the decline of America’s middle class and manufacturing power is no true calamity, others could argue that the greater a nation or culture, the more sorrowful it is to witness its decline — much the same way that history would mourn the destruction of the Palace of Versailles more than the totaling of Justin Bieber’s car.

French insists that the devastation of the working-class’ livelihoods is unrelated to failed federal policies such as mass immigration:

[I] have seen the challenges of the white working-class first-hand. Simply put, Americans are killing themselves and destroying their families at an alarming rate. No one is making them do it. The economy isn’t putting a bottle in their hand. Immigrants aren’t making them cheat on their wives or snort OxyContin. Obama isn’t walking them into the lawyer’s office to force them to file a bogus disability claim.

French, instead, suggests that the decimation of these communities is due to the laziness of the American worker…

Over the past 60 years the American “middle class” has incrementally merged with the government created ghetto intergenerational dependent class, most notably the project dwellers. Here in New Jersey thanks to the plantation bosses like Bob Menendez and his ilk the Latinos were thrown into the entitlement class. Drugs the loss of jobs the Vietnam War, more drugs, have completed the mix and the middle class is going the way of dinosaurs and the Edsel. Coupled with Hollywood, MTV and today’s music industry in general, pornography on demand in every american household, a nearly complete breakdown of social norms, morality and a wholesale assault on our culture fostered by those nigg__s in the woodpile, the stealth communists, now out in the open portraying themselves as progressives, the uber rich ala Gates, Zuckerberg, Buffet and company and their allegiance to Obama, the middle east wars and war profiteers who are cleaning up on a scale never before seen are just a few of the elements among so many others that have contributed to this poison. And let’s not leave out the political class on both sides of the aisle who are sitting back as spectators watching the Blob devour the once florishing middle class and Amerika. And yet a majority of americans look to the government to rescue them. maybe they should read Gulag Archipeligo for starters.

Well said. They have plundered the Middle Class jobs, and offered them money for their pain. All that is left is the sad carcasses of another era.

This choice is a perfect example of why the people are so fed up with the GOP they nominated Trump in the first place!

True. The Grand Old Party died a long time ago. Those of us who worked in business hung onto the train by our fingernails as long as we could as we had no reasonable options. Now we are a day late and a dollar short in this department.

I actually agree largely with this “The white American underclass is in thrall to a vicious, selfish culture whose main products are misery and used heroin needles. Donald Trump’s speeches make them feel good. So does OxyContin. What they need isn’t analgesics, literal or political. They need real opportunity, which means that they need real change..”

Funny, I was just driving home from a very upscale neighborhood nearby, the Pacific Palisades, 20 minutes from UCLA and my home………watching kids get out of school; clean cut, apparently nice kids, backpacks of books, short haircuts (am talking boys here), in little groups of 3 and 4…ALL neat and clean cut….around 16 years old, and I thought “Is it the money that keeps these kids clean cut? No….there are heroin addicts in these expensive homes, too……but in general, when people have had opportunity and do well by it, and they spend time with their kids, their community is better.
We do need to shake the middle class up, get those crack moms out of the basement, the oxycontin out of the med chest, the dads spending time with their sons, helping their kids with their homework instead of holding teachers responsible for their kids’ success..etc etc.

Okay, now yell at me!!! (I loathe most of the French thinking but, on this? I think I support Williams on the part I pasted here, too! !)

My experience is not as yours. I saw those that had been the so called “salt of the earth” right out of a Norman Rockwell painting. Bethlehem Steel, Mack Trucks, the entire coal industry leaving taking out whole communities thanks to open trade. Mack ended building trucks in Russia. steel ended up in China and Japan. They deserved better. I don’t doubt that the culture war has brought a change in values. But to see so many I knew go bankrupt and lose their homes still remains painful. As for me, I left the area as well as others leaving a ghost town. Thanks government.

Don’t get me wrong, the people you describe from a Rockwell painting ARE AMERICA…I totally think that, get that, see your point. I love them without knowing them, somehow. I care very deeply about their plight.
Maybe I’m naive, and even downright mean and judgmental, in thinking they can get through losing jobs and bankruptcies without crack and letting their kids suffer. And, as I said above, I’m generalizing, but that DOES exist, this kind of drug-taking, alcoholism, etc., to get through these terrible times.
There is nothing quite so painful as seeing thriving middle class towns which are now ghost towns; it’s a metaphor for this whole country because of the higher taxes and ecological rubbish that was hoisted too hard and too quick and too broadly, and other things which force companies to move out of the country to remain viable. “thanks, government,” is right.
do you disagree with me? I am not challenging you, I absolutely respect and agree with what you said; I’m legitimately eager to know if you think I’m totally off base on the reasons companies have left here..??

AND if you think they might come back somehow? HOW? Lowering taxes? Loosening the OSHA and other laws that closed down companies?
This was the ONE THING I agreed with Obama on; “shovel ready”…I knew it wasn’t a very Republican way of thinking but I DID think our jobless would benefit while our country benefited from new/better roads, dams, etc etc…..the ONE THING I agreed with and he totally F******.. I mean SCREWED it up.

Those that replaced the natives were your druggies straight out of the cities. Given free bus tickets to get out of the cities. We best pray our manufacturing comes back. WWII was won because we could retool and make the necessary equipment. But the loss of religious values ways heavy, morality and the like- I am in agreement. But which came first? Up for grabs. I recall history lessons on feather bedding on the RR’s that caused their demise in large part of the traveling public. Doubt you would hear that again.

The problem with French is that he probably never gets out of his car or even opens a car window when passing through non-megalopolis America. He read an article about oxy-contin abuse and, of course, all low income whites are addicts who threaten his precious world. Apparently, as a Republican, he was tired of being thwarted at reviling black ghetto dwellers and looked for an easier target for a gelding like him.

Very well said Dink. He never landed anywhere in fly over country. I have met these types who came into our community after they lay waste to it from their offices. Made it with their EPA regs impossible to earn a living. They have contempt for most hard working Americans who love their God and guns.

But trying to hold on to your “freedoms” without economic freedom or mobility seems like something that the right is intent on.

Ah, and Sanders, your boy, is going to supply ‘economic freedom for all’? Will we wear Mao jackets or just tie dye? And real ‘mobility’ or is that legislated mobility, which has never worked? And keep America a financially viable country at the same time?
Eager to see how that works out.
People have the ‘freedom’ to get an education, do well and thrive…middle class, lower class or upper class.
All lives matter. That should be the ‘new normal’.

Believe it or not, there are people who believe in the principles apparently held by Kristol (co-founder of PNAC and observer of one of its goals, another Pearl Harbor), French, and Williamson, and not all of them are sociopathic. They seem to desire power and hate our freedoms. They are not for us unless we are bleeding and dying in created wars to more firmly establish the military industrial complex and a rule over all but a few (themselves), by their NWO.
