Soros supported Christie is no more after Kamikaze attack on Rubio

It was a puzzle at the last debate why Christie chose to decimate Rubio. After all, Trump was leading the pack. But then again, just who is/was Christie? What did he hope to accomplish? Was this the plan? Christie had been leaving little doubt all week that Rubio was going to be in his crosshairs come the debate.  So what is going to be the payback for him and who orchestrated it? So let take a look back and think about just who is the real Chris Christie from some of my earlier posts.

Chris Christie raking in the money from Dems – add George Soros to the list June 4, 2013 — bunkerville.

TRENTON — Gov. Chris Christie is cashing in donations from top Democratic fundraisers and other traditionally liberal donors across the country, even nabbing the support of a handful of rainmakers aligned with President Obama and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, a Star-Ledger review of state and federal records shows.

The checks are flying into the Republican governor’s war chest from all sorts of unlikely places — the hedge fund run by liberal billionaire George Soros, for example, and the politically progressive halls of the University of California, Berkeley.

Brigid Harrison, a political science professor at Montclair State University, said much of Christie’s Democratic support stems from a recent fundraiser in California with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

Palatucci (Christie’s campaign manager) declined to discuss the campaign’s fundraising strategy, but said Christie has done plenty to earn the backing of Democrats.

The Star-Ledger review found:

•â€…Five executives at Soros Fund Management have chipped in a combined $19,000 to the governor’s re-election campaign, state records show. The donor roll includes Soros’ protégé and chief investment officer, Scott Bessent, who tends to fund liberal Democrats, and Sender Cohen, a partner at the hedge fund who more often favors Republicans.

•John Doerr, a top Democratic fundraiser and venture capitalist in California, sent Christie the maximum $3,800 donation for the Republican primary this year. So did his wife. Federal records show the couple has given more than $1.2 million to national Democrats since 1997.

•Tim Mullen, a Chicago investor who gave more than $100,000 to Emanuel’s campaign for mayor in 2011 and bundled from $200,000 to $500,000 for Obama in 2008, has also sent Christie a maximum donation, as has his wife Alice. Mullen was already a Christie donor in 2009, state records show.

Governor Christie’s Relationship with Radical Islam

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s nomination of Sohail Mohammed to be a state judge shows the governor’s tin ear for radical Islam. Not only did he appoint a longtime mouthpiece for radical Islamists to be a judge, but Christie has also turned a blind eye to the activities of one of Mohammed’s clients – radical imam Mohammed Qatanani, head of one of New Jersey’s largest mosques.

Qatanani has a history of Hamas support and was related by marriage to a leading Hamas operative in the West Bank. This fall, Qatanani will return to a New Jersey immigration court, where the Department of Homeland Security is fighting to have him deported. In his initial application for a green card filed in 1999, government lawyers say Qatanani failed to disclose a conviction in an Israeli military court for being a Hamas member and providing support to the terrorist group.

Oddly, Christie – a Republican who was then the U.S. Attorney for New Jersey – sided with Qatanani against DHS, allowing a top lieutenant, Assistant U.S. Attorney Charles McKenna, to testify as a character witness at Qatanani’s first immigration trial, and publicly embracing the imam at a Ramadan breakfast at his mosque. Christie later appointed McKenna as New Jersey’s head of homeland security..

As general counsel to the American Muslim Union (AMU), Mohammed often represented clients subject to government allegations concerning terrorists. The AMU often is highly critical of U.S. counter-terrorism efforts.

One online newsletter even included a claim that a “Zionist commando orchestrated the 9/11 terrorist attacks” and shows support for a “Rabbi” from the extremist Jewish organization Neturei Karta, which denies the right of Israel to exist and supports its dismantling.

N.J. turns away non-union power crews – Christie cut his deal

How desperate is hurricane-ravaged New Jersey? Not desperate enough to suspend a union monopoly that keeps the state in the bottom ten states for economic competitiveness (and #48 for business friendliness). Relief crews from Alabama who were specifically called to New Jersey found themselves diverted to Long Island, NY after they arrived because they use non-union labor. New Jersey folks will just have to wait to get their power on.

WAFF-TV of Hunstville, AL reports:

Crews from Huntsville, as well as Decatur Utilities and Joe Wheeler out of Trinity headed up there this week, but Derrick Moore, one of the Decatur workers, said they were told by crews in New Jersey that they can’t do any work there since they’re not union employees….

Understandably, Moore said they’re frustrated being told “thanks, but no thanks.”

Mitt Romney and Chris Christie on Climate Change

“First, a couple of preliminary things. In the past I’ve always said that climate change is real and it’s impacting our state. There’s undeniable data that CO2 levels and other greenhouse gases in our atmosphere are increasing. This decade average temperatures have been rising, temperature changes are affecting weather patterns and our climate……

At about 5.15 minutes in, it gets rare with Chris. He intends to eliminate all coal plants, and create off shore wind. Green energy coming your way New Jersey! Enjoy the view. Full transcript over at the clip.

The odious story of politicians selling their country down the river in order to get elected to higher office —oh say it isn’t so! But there is also good news in all of this. For example, now, we better understand what Christie meant when he underscored “having to actually make important decisions when you’re a sitting governor” —and we know the genesis of the expression, “I’ve got a bridge for sale.”

Yes indeed. Sadly, the rest of the pack of potentials doesn’t offer very much more. Kasich thought he was a good choice for Democrats. Trump– one scary dude. I wonder if he ever read the constitution. Yet, if our Republic is to fade into the sunset, I would just as soon he do the final act for some obscure reason on my part.

The almost total corruption of this country’s national media prevents the truth from making the headlines. We in New Jersey aware of this RINO hypocrites true liberal tendencies would fill a short yellow school bus. And yet here in this state he stands head and shoulders above anything the states uber-liberal democrat party could offer. Look at the shit we have sent to the House and US Senate. Disgraceful! Cory Booker the negro ex-mayor of Newark puts the “C” in corruption and yet if he and his handlers play their cards right this tall, tan and talented cretin could challenge Chelsea Clinton and Malia Obama for the 2024 democrat presidential nominee. Que domage, que lastima. In any language, what a shame.

I lived earlier on the other side of your boundary, Camden especially was a highlight of what corruption could do to a city. Good luck.

Camden, the crime capital of the US. Here in north Jersey we have Newark, a close second, a city that keeps the property taxes for Essex county taxpayers especially high in order to pay for the excellent education the Newark kids are getting here in the state with the highest property taxes in the country to go along with the highest auto insurance premiums in the nation. We believe Christie is one of the cows whose flatulence is raising the CO2 levels in the Garden State.
