Pentagon contracted out code writing to Russians

Where to even start with a comment on this one. Writing the code for the Pentagon was probably as serious as having them shoot a missile at us. Where are the headlines? Where is the media? This regime is out to destroy us, and the ticking bomb has been planted. Does anyone think that Hillary wasn’t hacked? Where are the prison terms? Here we go:

The Pentagon was tipped off in 2011 by a longtime Army contractor that Russian computer programmers were helping to write computer software for sensitive U.S. military communications systems, setting in motion a four-year federal investigation that ended this week with a multimillion-dollar fine against two firms involved in the work.

The contractor, John C. Kingsley, said in court documents filed in the case that he discovered the Russians’ role after he was appointed to run one of the firms in 2010. He said the software they wrote had made it possible for the Pentagon’s communications systems to be infected with viruses.

Greed drove the contractor to employ the Russian programmers, he said in his March 2011 complaint, which was sealed until late last week. He said they worked for one-third the rate that American programmers with the requisite security clearances could command. His accusations were denied by the firms that did the programming work.

I think that’s not all they’ve taken over. Got to have a camera inserted to look at the inside of my bladder soon. Expecting to have I.V. sedation, I asked nurse when appointment was made if I needed to be accompanied with driver. She said no, she was going to numb me up.
I thought…”heck isn’t this the urologist office and not the dentist?”
I agree with our local radio and TV personality who fell and broke her leg recently. She’s childless and having to move out of area to be near relatives in nursing care. She said “The Golden Years suck.” 🙂

Here you go bunkerville, my take, just one serious question why wasn’t this a case requiring criminal sanctions in the criminal court system than a civil matter. Jim at We The People. https://whatyouthoughtiwentaway.wordpress.com/2015/11/05/pentagon-farmed-out-its-computer-coding-to-russia/

$12.75 million in civil penalties for this crap. That solves everything. Lunch money for the Clintons and their ilk. $43, 000,000 to build a gas station in Iraq, $15,000,000 for a useless abandoned never used warehouse tin Iraq, that was to cost $500,000. These are only the tip of the iceberg. During the Carter administration the DOD paid $500 for toilet seats and $350 for hammers. Russians writing our military codes, Bubba giving our missile delivery systems to the Chi-coms for campaign donations… all a mere bag of shells And who in D.C> gives a flying fuck?.

Well said Peter. It gets more depressing by the day. Everyone has their hand in the till. Bubba started the worst of the decline. His wanting to sell out our ports was right there up at the top. China has everything and Russia is just now getting on board with the ultimate weapon.

When I was in the IT consulting field in the 1990’s and 2000’s, the MBA trained CEO’s and CIO’s all thought the greatest possible idea was to “outsource”. This had various flavors. The most common was to hire third-party companies to do everything possible in software development except the project management. These third-party companies invariably outsourced other work to still other companies. The locations shifted in different years, but they were rarely in liberal democratic countries like the US.

Another beloved measure was to “import” people from India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Jordan, Egypt, Russia, and China using the H1B visa. These people often were friendly and hard-working. They were also paid 1/3rd or less than the natural-born American citizens. What kind of vetting did they get? Who knows. I remember one Chinese man who was a raging Communist and autocrat. Any of the poor testers (Muslim women) on his programs were screamed at and abused. They never complained.
