Once again, Obama takes an opportunity to express his disdain for us bitter clingers who love our God. It reminded me of the clip of him revealing is own personal views which include “Collective Salvation.” Also known as Black Liberation Theology. It works swell in forwarding his Marxist agenda. I might add, and importing the so-called “Refugees.” Some who will surely want to kill us.
President Obama lamented the rancorous, divided state of U.S. politics in a wide-ranging interview with Pulitzer Prize-winning author Marilynne Robinson.
In the unusual discussion, Obama revealed some of his longstanding frustrations with politics while asking the Iowa author questions about her family, her Christian faith and her writings.
“How do you reconcile the idea of faith being really important to you and you caring a lot about taking faith seriously with the fact that, at least in our democracy and our civic discourse, it seems as if folks who take religion the most seriously sometimes are also those who are suspicious of those not like them?” Obama asked during the interview, which was published Monday in the New York Review of Books.
Robinson replied that those “turning in on themselves — and God knows, arming themselves” against an “imagined other,” are not “taking their Christianity seriously.”
Obama’s comments about religion’s role in America have often irked his opponents. Throughout his presidency, a vocal group of Obama critics have questioned his Christian faith.
More over at the The Hill
Here is Obama’s on his personal salvation. Apparently only if we agree to becoming a Marxist nation, can the man find salvation.

I had never heard that clip before but it is strange. I can’t tell if he was saying the government was what could provide salvation or if he was the one who could provide salvation but it doesn’t really matter because I think it shows us he is one of those people who think the state is the highest power…

I agree. One for all and all for one is how I take it.

It’s textbook fascist “salvation”.
* Only the “folk” together are real – individuals are simply parts of one “thing” – the nation
* Sacrifices for the greater good!
* We will by our forceful efforts bring about A NEW AGE, a 1000 year reich…

Not even going to listen to it Bunkerville. Just can’t. Was bad enough I felt I had to listen to parts of that 60 Minutes interview to see how he was going to rationalize “our” part in the Syrian thing. So, I will ask, did the subject come up between the two of them on abortion?

Jim Webb might surprise us. He needs attention if he is sincere, and he is a moderate.

LadyRavenSDC,
I’m with you. I haven’t been able to listen to Mr Obama since sometime in 2009. There’s something weirdly hypnotic about his voice, that makes the weirdly disconnected content seem somehow palatable – when it’s anything but.

Does anyone even listen to him anymore? I notice that even the libtards among us are fairly silent when it comes to Odumbo. I’m not talking about the huge news, just the everyday libtard.

People criticize Odumbo but he knows exactly what he is doing. It only seems dumb or counterproductive if you assume a president is always looking out for the best interests of his nation. Think Manchurian Candidate. Libtards may be dumb, their Marxist/Muslim leader is not.

Obama believes in “collective salvation.” Not a Biblical doctrine.

If Obama wants to talk about which followers of which “religion” are the most suspicious of those not like them, he should have mentioned Islam. Did he?
