How many had access to Clinton’s E-Mails?

While Hillary spins her tale of the vast right-wing conspiracy that paranoia will bring on, the courts are moving forward in obtaining documents. It looks like the State department is waking up that they might not be able to bury the issue. In an update we have the issue of who all had access to the E-Mails. This may be the real “gotcha” for Clinton. The story broadens out. Way out. Here we go:

Department of State officials refused to identify to a congressional committee the “chain of custody” – the complete list of people who had access to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email server, according to The Daily Caller News Foundation’s investigation.

The materials were sought “in order to identify those persons who had touched them and then for us to determine who might have violated classified handling procedures. And we got nothing,” the source said.

In a related development Monday, a federal judge with the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia ordered an accelerated hearing for Aug. 20 on whether to order discovery by attorneys for Judicial Watch on the State Department’s possession of Clinton’s servers, accounts, hard drives or other devices.

U.S. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan ordered the State Department to respond no later than Wednesday to the non-profit watchdog’s request for discovery following repeated failures by the government to fulfill its obligations under the Freedom of Information Act.

Other parties may have had unauthorized access to the Clinton materials if Kendall printed out the emails using either a commercial printing company or an unsecured Williams & Connolly copier machine.

To print out 30,000 paper emails, “it seems likely that [Kendall] would have contracted a commercial printing firm and then as a result, that has now been exposed to someone else,” observed Alex McGeorge, the head of threat intelligence at Immunity, Inc.

Even if Williams & Connolly printed out the 30,000 emails in-house, the best copiers are really computers with large storage capacity that would keep the classified information, McGeorge said.

I think you are right and this might be getting to the point where the State Department might not be able to cover of Hillary. This scandal is deepening every day and the more she spins the deeper she gets, it might be impossible for her to recover at this rate. The left will still call this a right wing conspiracy but they are ignoring the fact the FBI is now involved.

As they say at Planned Parenthood…shoulda used some protection. Sounds like HRC’s servers were running around the internet without any protection.

Her sent and received emails may have been scrubbed, but rest assured those who sent TO her and received FROM her haven’t scrubbed theirs. Thus the real possibility of black mail. (“We’ll reveal this and that if you don’t give us what we bargained for”) I hope they burn her to the ground … we’ll see.

Not quite sure why we aren’t seeing a flurry of “contempt of Congress” citations. If Congress has a right to know it, and the executive refuses to provide it, isn’t that deserving of a contempt citation?

I agree. Looks like there are a few D.C. Court judges who are willing to take it on, but seem to be taking their own sweet time.

What a day in LA. Woke up this morning to thunder at 4 am. Went to pee which I don’t usually do ’til 6. But stayed up until about 1:30 am today following this screwed up world events. Makes for helter skelter day staying up so late. Too wet to mow so decided to zip tie my ladder guards in pool so Polaris won’t get stuck ( have to do every year late summer). Water already too cool for me, skin turned blue. Oh no, not blue as to political. Just too cold for me.
That just for shallow end, got deep end ladder yet to do.
Relative to the post here today, judges taking sweet time…
My LA is Lower Alabama. 🙂

Someone needs to check with the Russians and the Chinese. They’ll have complete sets.

This whole thing doesn’t even pass the smell test for any type of security. For that alone she should be in prison, including her staff.

The fact that she had these printed was nothing more than to add another layer of difficulty is searching her files. Absolutely ridiculous and shameful.

Printing them made them unsearchable. Clever, but this time she may have hung herself. We shall see.

You said what I was going to say, on both points, but you said it better.

It is almost a certainty that foreign intelligence has all her e-mails. It is not that hard to monitor and intercept with the right technology and know-how, which they certainly have.

And yes, providing a dump truck of hard copies instead of soft copies was a big, smirky FU from Hillary, so it would be particularly tasty if it ends up hanging her.

I am still doubtful this will bring her down. The political establishment takes care of its own, she may be too big to fail, and we’ve seen this before, flashing lights in the Clinton Gang’s rearview mirror, roadblock ahead, certain capture, only to see them slip the handcuffs at the last minute. I pray I am wrong this time and we see her in prison orange.

Hillary didn’t just sit there and pick one by one to print. A whole bevy of folks had to be involved. Even so, their picking apparently isn’t that good since we have so many questionable Emails.
The press seems to be interested in the story, so I have some optimism that after decades we may take them out.

      • Hardnox Says:

Exactly right. It was a big FU to any and all.

The fact that she claims “no classified documents were transferred” through her private account may be debateable or yet unproven BUT all her activity would be considered classified by any definition. If her activities and communications were not classified then the question remains: WTF did she do for four years?

Note the verbiage on “no classified were transferred”. This is cover to protect herself from prosecution on espionage.

Why any and all of this isn’t front and center boggles the mind.

The other issue is what does she have on Batears, Boehner, and McConnell that she isn’t already behind bars? This stinks worse than 10 day roadkill.

Side note: I welcome ya’ll to , we have been posting on this topic and others for some time already. Bunkerville posted a great piece of info there this AM.

        BTW, Great Blog!

The lefties use every available hammer when they are in charge but scream foul when they get hammered. Hypocrites! Of course, that not news.

Thanks. I too will add you to our blogroll once I get the widget fixed. It worked for the longest time then WP screwed it up with an update. 🙂

BTW, you don’t have an email subscription feature. I wish you did as I seldom use my WP “follow” feature. I have found that our readers prefer emails on new posts. Just sayin’.

Definitely we need to keep in touch. America is coming around to our way of thinking thanks to Trump for stating what every red blooded American says.
