Sunday respite: In memory of the Kurds who died this week with U.S. OK

This has to be one of the saddest post I have ever done. Tears fill my eyes. For those of us who know our long relationship with the Kurds and how we sell them out over and over again it is an immoral act of betrayal. No respite for this day. Do read the headline link below starting with “Stunning..” It will make you sick. Obama names the Kurds a terrorist organization. Read the tweets from the Kurds. So I will give you for the music selection, Schindler’s list done by Luka Sulic.

The headline?

Turkey Continues Airstrikes On Kurds, Killing 260…

The Kurds. And we supported Turkey killing our supposed allies. Those very brave men and women who we half supported, who we have lied to over and over again since we attacked Iraq the very first time.

STUNNING=> Obama Gives Turkey Green Light to Bomb ….

6 days ago – Retired US Marine Jordan Matson joined the YPG Kurdish fighters to fight ISIS in September 2014. Jordan told Greta Van … This week Obama gave a green light to Turkey to bomb the Kurds. …. Thank you for your support.

Earlier post 42 Million plus support ISIS, US blocks attempts by allies to arm Kurds

Meanwhile, Obama refuses to help the Kurds.

The United States has blocked attempts by its Middle East allies to fly heavy weapons directly to the Kurds fighting Islamic State jihadists in Iraq, The Telegraph has learnt.

Some of America’s closest allies say President Barack Obama and other Western leaders, including David Cameron, are failing to show strategic leadership over the world’s gravest security crisis for decades.

This sort of in response to Bunkerville’s post and LadyRaven’s comments and video…
Being sickened now. I had to think long and hard to find a word for the condition my condition is in. With all the questions doctors are required to ask these days, one has to be careful. Had one doc visit last week, another coming this week (I count Sunday as first day of a week). I really just say no to the questions, but not really getting old time doctor rapport that way. Question is looking to record depressed in the medical record. Most here know why.
I’ll just say I’m disheartened for a lot of reasons which I could give an agent many mundane reasons, but still off record. Still will just say NO!

      TU!
See me sitting knee to knee with you, my arms around your neck, our foreheads pressed together and please listen to me for just a few moments in time –
      Stay strong.
      Continue to just say NO!
The days of the “old time doctor rapport” are gone – because…. well you know why.
Yesterday was especially hard for me with world events – but I keep pictures of my grandchildren very nearby with expressions on their faces that say – “Not today Grandma – today is not the day to give up.”
We who have websites MUST go on. What we post is not pretty but we have a “duty” to inform.
And I cannot tell you how CRITICAL it is to our keeping on going that people like you come to our sites and comment.
Sometimes there is humor, sometimes just honesty of feelings like you have done today, more often there is thought process, knowledge, reasoning to give us something to consider/think about.
And, you tell us we are not alone.
The moment we are tapped to go on to another world we are truly alone, but until then, we need each other.
Stay with, stay strong, you are not alone!

I will. And websites like here, yours, provided links, C&H help to know not alone. Thanks.
P.S. not to get personal, just to let you know I remember and think of you…what was it about a year ago your family undergoing a healthcare crisis with someone you love? I won’t mention who. But do remember. Hope all’s better now.

Like all things in that region, this is an interlocking puzzle from hell. Iraqi Kurdistan enjoys booming relations and economic activity with Turkey. Part of the bargain is that they cut off the PKK Kurdish rebels conducting operations in Eastern Turkey.

The same sorting out will have to take place with Kurds in Syria as well.

Obama’s impeachables just keep piling up. And other than Trump which of the other silent republicans, should he/she be elected will reverse any of this? This reminds one of Stalins political ploy of abandoning the Polish Warsaw resistance when they rose up against the Nazis near the end of the war and leaving them to be slaughtered.
And Obama is not finished . Once his plan to grant amnesty to all illegals in the country before leaving office “leaks out” we will face an invasion of biblical proportions over our southern and northern borders. The drug cartels, ISIS, Al -Qaida all will have a field day as they all establish a beachhead here. And as a bonus our hospitals, our schools, our social services will be overrun. Betraying the Kurds will be just one more practice run for this criminal. The good news is that Jeb Bush is for more government regulation in our schools and Clinton wants higher wages for women and hamburger flippers. It’s refreshing to know our elite political class has its collective eye on the ball. Pray for the Kurds, pray for us.
