Sunday respite: The Pusher Man

The latest gentle giant is AKA the drug pusher AKA Freedie Grey. Keep in mind just what he was. So this one is for him.

Well now if I were the president of this land
You know I’d declare total war on the pusher man.
I’d cut him if he stands, and I’d shoot him if he run,
And I’d kill him with my bible, and my razor and my gun….

Baltimore’s Freddie Gray, drug dealer with 18 arrests

You know I smoked a lot of grass.
Oh Lord! I popped a lot of pills.
But I’ve never touched nothin’
That my spirit couldn’t kill.
You know I’ve seen a lot of people walking ’round
With tombstones in their eyes.
But the pusher don’t care
If you live — or if you die.
God Damn! The pusher.
God Damn! The pusher.
I said God Damn! God damn the pusher man.
You know the dealer, the dealer is a man
With a lump of grass in his hand.
But the pusher is a monster
Not a natural man.
The dealer for a nickel
Goin to sell you lots of sweet dreams.
Ah…but the pusher will ruin your body;
Lord he’ll leave your mind to scream.
God Damn! The pusher.
God Damn! God damn the pusher.
I said God Damn! God damn the pusher man.
Well now if I were the president of this land
You know I’d declare total war on the pusher man.
I’d cut him if he stands, and I’d shoot him if he run,
And I’d kill him with my bible, and my razor and my gun….
GOD DAMN! The pusher
God damn the pusher.
I said God damn! God damn the pusher man!

I agree. Hard to believe they have been around and still making good sounds.

I went to the Y2K Aspencade Bikefest, and they were the main band. Thought it quite appropriate, actually.

Dead or alive the pusher man, here in the Homeland, has the left, busy as a bunch of bees protecting those same constitutional rights of his that the left is doing it’s best to deprive the middle class of. Yes kids the democrats are a caring bunch of buggers.

I would suggest that this fine fellow would be just as guilty of attempted murder. Selling drugs to kids should be a capital crime.

Read this pusher man song. Then shortly afterward was reading another site and a comment there about his feelings on democrats. I immediately thought how well the pusher man fits the democrats overall.

Good connection. The Dems give the poor their fix while they remain servants of them.

Was Freddie Gray on parole or probation? If so, I wonder if he was allowed to carry any concealed weapon?

He had another court date coming up. Bet he didn’t want to go to jail. Had they jailed him earlier he would be alive for what it is worth.
