Now the EPA plans to infiltrate our churches with their agenda. Too many churches have already lost their way in forgetting their purpose and becoming political operatives in my opinion. I have my own issues with the latest Catholic pope but that is a post for another day. No, this is evil personified. You may want to check out an earlier post.EPA McCarthy will ‘go after’ critics who question agency May5,2014
Here we go with the latest:
Researchers to develop workshops for faith leaders to ‘implement sustainability initiatives within their congregations. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is spending $84,000 to study how churches can be used to combat climate change.
A taxpayer-funded graduate fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor is examining 17 faith-based institutions that have implemented “sustainability initiatives” in the hopes of developing workshops to teach pastors and other religious leaders how to change the behaviors of their congregants.
“More Americans belong to religious groups than any other type of voluntary association and faith communities play an important role in facilitating the kind of social transitions that are necessary as the nation responds to climate change,” the grant said, under the section “Potential to Further Environmental/Human Health Protection.”

Nothing like trying to influence the faiths of people for a political agenda! And recently Hillary said it was time to change people’s deep seated religious beliefs on abortion. Nothing is sacred (pun intended) to these people and their is no aspect of our lives they do not want to get their hands into.

Never before has religion been under attack as now. No doubt any church that doesn’t submit will lose their non profit status, or will come under some other attack,

I don’t see a problem here. If we can help congregations who care about this issue to get the word out and engage the public, that’s a good and appropriate thing. It is a matter of morality, stewardship of the environment, so the churches should be involved and many are. The Vatican is all over this at the moment.

It’s not a matter of “see a problem.” It a matter of smell. EPA should investigate JMJ for the gas he keep passing.

I do see a problem. First, the Constitution delegates to the federal government no authority over the environment. Second, it’s not the government’s place to ‘help’ church congregations with anything.

Well said. Thanks for stopping by. The EPA. One of the most vile agencies in the government.

And thus the fascists attempt to gain power over the Christians through programming by the clergy.

Please explain to me WTF the EPA would have to do in/with a church. Other than having the priests program the flock.

As Adrienne commented:The Pope just held a meeting yesterday about “sustainability.” And, of course, you know he’ll be issuing an encyclical about “climate change.”

Yes, it is! But, Climate Change is BIG MONEY. Getting the churches on board means more money and commitment. What I find funny about this is that most people who are faith based KNOW that it is GOD, and not man, who controls the climate of our great earth. Sure, man can affect our air quality and pollute the crap out of it but it won’t be man who will be it’s destroyer. The ego….

Infesting local non-governmental groups of free citizens, suborning them and turning them to the state’s purpose is what fascists do.

It figures. Bet Catholics go back to “meatless” days. Mondays now seem to be the days as it was in my workplace. Nuts…. yepper, sums it up.

This federal government of ours is determined to shove their agenda down our throats to take it or make us fight them. Their pushing to ee how far their luck will go.

It is a new low. Christians need to grab themselves some courage and fight back. Look what God did for Gideon, Deborah, Elijah, etc., when oppression hit. God gave them victory.

Last Sunday, the scripture was read from a version of the bible I had never heard of. Apparently one now needs to question what ‘version’ of the good book the Minister choses to read from. Another church bites the dust for me.

I’ll let you in on a secret. I have been unhappy with the churches too. I guess that is the reason the Bible tells us to get in the word on our own so we won’t be lead astray by false prophets, pastor. 🙂

Which is exactly why the Catholic Church went so apefeathers over the Protestant movement way back in the day.

Some of the churches have gotten too Pharisees (legalism, Man-made doctrine) for me.
I’ll stick to “love my neighbor” and what the Bible tells me to do. 🙂 <— Right there is enough to worry about.

As I said, that’s why the Protestant movement and printing Bibles for anyone to buy and read upset the Catholic Church so much.
