Hillary Clinton lies again, lies about family immigration history

Hillary just cannot help herself from wandering off the reservation of truth. Is it important? I think so. Let’s hold her feet to the fire. Video over at Buzz Feed. Update with a reminder of Liz Warren.

Speaking in Iowa Wednesday, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that all her grandparents had immigrated to the United States, a story that conflicts with public census and other records related to her maternal and paternal grandparents.

“All my grandparents, you know, came over here and you know my grandfather went to work in lace mill in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and worked there until he retired at 65. He started there when he was a teenager and just kept going,” Clinton said.

Clinton has told the story of grandmother immigrating as a young girl before. Most recently in a speech last year:

My grandmother on my father’s side, Hanna Jones Rodham — by the way, insisted on using all 3 names despite what people in Scranton, Penn. might have thought at the time ― was one of those tough Methodist women who was never afraid to get her hands dirty. She traced her Methodism back to the Wesley brothers themselves, who converted her great grandparents in the small coal mining villages of Southern Wales. She immigrated with her family as a young girl to Scranton and went to work — very young―in a silk mill, and then she met and married my grandfather, who had also come to this country as a young man from the coalmining area in Newcastle, in England.

Yes the truth does matter, at least to some of us! And who can forget she also lied about how she was named after a mountain climber named Sir Edmund Hillary? And we are supposed to trust her…

The tide has turned for the LIV. I read yesterday or this morning that the # 1 question on Google is…”Is Hillary Clinton married?” Can I laugh now?

Hillary is trying to run as a populist candidate. Ain’t workin’!

Her pandering is pathetic — unless she actually manages to herd the sheeple into the voting booths to vote for her, that is. I admit that I have a lack of confidence in the wisdom and discernment of the American electorate today.

I don’t think this time the kiddies will be willing to be rounded up as before. But then again, will the GOPers decide to pout once more and stay home?
