No surprise really, but still Obama keeps pushing the envelope for the tolerance level of the American people. Apparently, there is no bounds. It’s almost that he delights in pulling our chain. Why else keep harping on his damnable phone and pen. Here we go:
President Barack Obama says he’s going to push the limits on presidential power as far as he can go during the last two years of his tenure.
“Where [elected Republicans in Congress] are not willing to work with us, we will do it administratively or we will convene the private sector,” he said in a friendly interview with The Huffington Post.
“By hook or by crook,” he added.
Obama said his big-government push would “make sure that when I leave this office, that the country is more prosperous, more people have opportunity, kids have a better education, we’re more competitive, climate change is being taken more seriously than it was, and we are actually trying to do something about it.”

I can’t believe he actually said “by hook or by crook,” which in actuality has been his credo all along. I agree with you that he enjoys pushing our buttons.
He is an unserious punk, but more dangerously, he is pushing the envelop, breaking down barriers, breaking traditions and precedents, and expanding the range of power for future presidents. Whatever somebody in DC gets away with once becomes a new precedent.
The last paragraph is sadly laughable: Obama done the opposite. We are a sadder, madder, poorer, stupider country with less prosperity and opportunity because of his sorry presidency.

Well said SF. and we have months to go before the end of this regime. I count the days.

Of course this is not surprising and he has been at this for awhile now but it is interesting to note that he is so emboldened now that he is admitting he will do it by hook or by crook. Who is going to stop him? I will not be counting on the Republicans.

No one is going to stop him, that is apparently clear.

By executive order the GOP should be forced to change its logo from the elephant to the lemming or the weasel or the pussycat.

I agree with your concept. Weasel seems appropriate. The Grand old party has long lost its “Grand”
