Sunday respite: ‘Bring him home’


During the Christmas season I came across music by “The Piano Guys.” Here is another piece that seems very appropriate now. From Les Misérables, Bring him home.

    Been a fan of theirs for years.
    If you haven’t seen their “Star Wars” parody clip, it’s worth it.

    Actually, pretty much ANYTHING they’ve done is worthy of a watch…

    Certainly this parents pray many, many nights. I’m sure it’s meant about those military-industrial complex situations where elites send other’s children off to war. I know it’s necessary for our freedom. I’ve done lost one son prematurely at 19. Daughter is out tonight, not at war, but to console friend whose Dad died two days ago at only 55. But she out in such a volatile world. I pray just the same.
