I can’t think of anything more absurd than this little number. James Taylor singing flat without a mike with Lurch standing in the background. A new method to fight the terrorists. Enjoy

This was such a transparent attempt at making up for not showing up at the rally and I find it hard to believe the French people will not see through this. If I lived an France and I was offended before I would be doubly offended now!

I’d love to know what Kerry whispered to Taylor while everybody was clapping, just as Taylor had almost walked off the stage….first, how rude, and second, what’d he say?
I hadn’t heard about this and, without the video, I’d have thought you were kidding.
The WashPo asked its readers at the end of the article I saw on this (and they said even they were ‘cringing’) “Who would you have brought if you were Kerry?” Interesting question.
Gad, if he’d only sung something other than YOU’VE GOT A FRIEND. How pathetic is THAT? Ya, you have a FRIEND but that supposed FRIEND didn’t think enough of you to come and march with you against murderers of your people.

Unless one sees it as a visual, words cannot describe the absurdity of it all. Plus, all we get to see is his bald head. As much planning as the State Dept can do these days I guess.

Wait a minute … if waterboarding is torture, what in the hell is being forced to listen to James Taylor and John Kerry singing “You’ve got a friend?” I’m sure the French think Americans are about the dumbest people on the planet … and sadly, they could be right.

This had to top all in regards to absurdity. Kerry looking the fool, and Taylor sounding and looking.. well you name it.

As for singers…
Wish I knew how to make voice over videos. I’d do Maurice Chevalier singing ‘How you gonna keep the Muzzies back in the sand, once they’ve killed in Paree.’

Nice pick for background. I can think of so many possibilities.

Well, where they are now in West. But was thinking pre-emptive before that in the Mideast.
