We are selling out the Cuban freedom fighters to save your sorry ass? When you had no business trying to set up internet equipment in Cuba? Cuba just gave Russia permission to set up a spy center. Anyone remember that Cuba almost started WWIII by allowing Russian Nukes to be set up inside their border aimed at us?
Russia ‘to reopen Cold War Cuban listening post used to spy…
Daily Mail
Jul 16, 2014
Russia has agreed to reopen a major Cold War listening post on Cuba that was used to spy on America, it was reported today.
Moscow-based daily Kommersant claimed Russia and Cuba have struck a deal ‘in principle’ after President Vladimir Putin visited the island last week.
Citing several sources within Russian authorities, the respected daily wrote: ‘The agreements were finalised while President Vladimir Putin visited Havana last Friday.
Conservatives on Fire : So, Obama wants to pick a fight with Russia, create chaos in the Middle East, screw over Israel, place sanctions on Cuba’s puppet,Venezuela, but he wants to normalize relations with Cuba. If somebody can make sense out of all of that, please enlighten me. Please!
At a news conference in Washington, Mr. Gross said he supported Mr. Obama’s move toward normalizing relations with Cuba, adding that his own ordeal and the injustice with which Cuban people have been treated were “a consequence of two governments’ mutually belligerent policies.”
“Five and a half decades of history show us that such belligerence inhibits better judgment,” Mr. Gross said. “Two wrongs never make a right. This is a game-changer, which I fully support.”

Was reading about a drink popular in my youth, Cuba Libre, on Wiki. So many names worldwide. Now can be a new one Rum and Obola. With the vintage cars in Cuba this fits well…” In The American Language, 1921, H.L. Mencken writes of an early variation of the drink: “The troglodytes of western South Carolina coined ‘jump stiddy’ for a mixture of Coca-Cola and denatured alcohol (usually drawn from automobile radiators); connoisseurs reputedly preferred the taste of what had been aged in Model-T Fords.”

Oh pla…ese. Cool the hate.
USA just declared victory and is normalizing nation level relations with Cuba. USA did the same thing in Viet Nam, Japan, Germany, Italy, Russia, and China.
Can any one say why USA stood for longer than 50 years against Cuba? Does any one care?
Go back to sniveling about Ben Gazi.

I guess if you didn’t know people over there you could feel that way.Nothing will change until the Castros are gone. They are finally on their death bed and you want to prop them up. Go over there and enjoy living in a dictatorship.

“Nothing will change until the Castros are gone.” But it has changed; and for the better.
“… Go over there and enjoy living in a dictatorship.”
Why would one want to do go there and enjoy living in a dictatorship? According to the writings on Bunkerville, the people living in USA are living under a dictatorship.
So, why did USA have the embargo in the first place?

Because Castro invited Russian to set up Nukes 90 miles off our shores. They -the Castors-murdered thousands of dissidents and are a State sponsor of terror who hand in hand with North Korea will blow our sorry asses out of the water if we don’t stop them. They shot down a plane killing four in International waters who were trying to save poor souls fleeing for their lives via innertubes trying to get to Florida.

It has been long suggested by many observers that American belligerence exacerbated the harshness of the Castro regime. Besides, if we can do business with China and Vietnam, we can do business with Cuba. All those who disagree with that are hypocrites.

Rubio is right. Obama is the world’s worst negotiator. He gives and the other side takes; Russia, the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Iran, and now Cuba.

I can’t believe what we’re assaulted with nearly every day with this guy, Bunkerville….what next is right. I shiver thinking of it. Imagine doing something this big without consulting Congress? And nobody’s really talking about that much, either!
Gross….sounds like Obama, doesn’t he? Here’s a country that kept him for FIVE YEARS, apparently didn’t treat him great, his health suffered, and WE’re BELLIGERENT, TOO!?

We keep thinking that every Country can be Democratic and in our image. They may get there, but it can’t be imposed. Meanwhile those like Gaddafi and the like are a necessary evil.

Bunk – I saw that earlier and sat back and all I could say was “WTHell?” All I can think is that this is some sort of major distraction from something really awful getting ready to happen. Teh Won is leaving tomorrow for his annual “stick it to the taxpayers” vacay so we’ll have 17 days of a reprieve.
