One can only wonder why the media has not picked this up? Will the upcoming House hearing with Gruber address this opinion by him? They sure laughed at us when we talked about the Death Panels which we now know are indeed true. Unelected individuals will decide the quantity and quality of our lives. Welcome to Progressive thinking. The paper written in such a detached method can only remind us of the Nazi regime. Here we go: UPDATE: Questioned during hearing today:
Embattled MIT professor Jonathan Gruber has not only gotten in trouble for bragging about helping President Obama put one over on the American people with Obamacare, he’s also been uncovered as an abortion advocate—but not a run-of-the-mill advocate of “women’s rights.”
No, Gruber’s abortion advocacy is of a particularly pungent eugenics variety. He’s on record repeatedly making the case from social science that abortion is a “social good” because it reduces the number of “marginal children,” by which he means urban poor—those he says can be counted on to commit crimes if they were ever born.
Gruber co-authored a paper during the Clinton years which argued that legal abortion had saved the U.S. taxpayer upwards of $14 billion in welfare benefits and that it also lowered crime.

I am glad somebody asked him about this and compared it to IPAB because the two have he same goal to people like Gruber.

I would have thought this would have been a headliner, but the questioner wasn’t the best. That is the trouble with 5 minutes that they each get.

When I see his name, it reminds me of the ‘grub worm’ (grub-er). Here’s a photo: http://www.arts-stew.com/photo-of-the-day/photo-of-the-day-a-little-grub-worm/ Notice the comment below the pix!

All your transparent conservative blather aside, it seems very reasonable to figure that the reason crime and host of other social ills started declining precipitously one generation removed from Roe v Wade is because more poor people were getting abortions. Less poor will always lead to less of some social ills. So will less rich. It’s just reality. It isn’t some sinister plan, you loonies,

We know that Sanger founded Planned Parenthood in an attempt to commit genocide on black people so to me it sounds as if Gruber has admitted his is a racist to boot. I hope that this comes up in the hearings!

And nobody ever brings up how we WERE right about death panels. And the idea that somebody’d put cash in front of human life is so emblematic of this awful bunch in charge. Well, don’t forget, Obama said he wouldn’t want to PUNISH Malia or what’s-her-name if they got pregnant, remember? I suppose that meant “keep the baby?”
sad
Is it tomorrow Gruber’s on or was it today? I really wish I could watch those hearings. I have to admit I hope Darryl Issa isn’t there; that’s a sure ticket to Gruber speaking and the whole thing being forgotten the next day.

Tomorrow is the day. I have my seat warmed up. The tape should be available over at c-span. I bet he is has arrogant as ever. Agree. Issa is a loser. So it was Gruber behind the death panels. I wonder if anyone will ask him about it.

ask him about it? HA! Is Curt Gowdy on this panel, do you know? THAT would be FUN! He’d ask anybody anything if he thought it was a good question.
I’m no Sarah Palin fan, but I’d LOVE her to have the chance to ask that one question about the DEATH PANELS, wouldn’t you? Boy, she got such a stink for that….if she’d ONLY used a slightly less pejorative term, maybe Americans would have grasped what she was saying, but the Left’s SO GOOD at spinning straw men and they pounced on the term DEATH PANELS as if anybody who said that was nuts.
Turns out, even she wasn’t so nuts.

Turns out, she really can see Russia from her window and by golly the Russians have been buzzing Alaska. 🙂 Curt is on the Committee. But of course they are releasing the so called “torture” report tomorrow so we won’t hear much about it, as planned.

“torture report”? A smoke screen to overcome the Gruber hearing revelations? I’ll hear about that on FOX tonight, I suppose.
Thanks.

Ye, gods!
Just imagine the media furor if a conservative had penned such a paper!

Just think how much money will be saved after his death panels come into play. After all, he was the architect.
