Lindsey Graham talks immigration within 12 hours to Obama

The body isn’t even cold and our man Judas Senator Lindsey Graham can’t wait to turn Rino on us. Isn’t this just the icing on the cake?  I just bet Obama called Graham’s twin in the Senate, McCain. I guess we can figure why Obama gave Congress six weeks to come up with a bill. So now they will try rush this through during the lame duck. Thanks fellas.

WISTV:

Just over 12 hours after the Republican Party captured control of the Senate from the Democrats, South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham says he’s already been in touch with President Barack Obama on how to move forward.

“The president called last night,” Graham said. “We had a rather lengthy discussion. I think the president was very sincere in wanting to find common ground. Only time will tell.”[…]

Graham says he continues to believe there is bipartisan action on immigration reform. Just last year, Graham was part of a bipartisan group of senators who drafted and ultimately passed a comprehensive immigration reform bill through the Senate. The House of Representatives, however, never took up the bill.

“I intend to seek common ground on this issue as I have for the past eight years on almost,” Graham said.[…]

But Graham also warned that Republicans will need to be open to working with Democrats to keep the GOP majority.

“We will lose ground in ’16 if we can’t prove to the people that there’s a new Republican Party, that’s going to come to Washington to get things done. It puts a lot of pressure on [Majority Leader Mitch] McConnell and [Minority Leader Harry] Reid to come up with a positive agenda,” Graham said.

Was Mitch McConnel’s pledge not to shutdown the government a wink and a nod to Obola for his forging ahead with his pledge of amnesty for the 30-40,000 illegals who today call America del Norte home? It is doubtful anyone would be surprised if so.

Yep, I only wonder what the reaction will be. OF course if they take up the Senate bill this fall they will do it by reconciliation.

Follow the money trail. This melon face’s traitorous behavior is only topped by Obola’s and his one armed bandito buddy McCain.

For whatever it’s worth, even the guys at National Review are now saying it might be worth shutting down the government if that’s what it takes to stop executive amnesty:

I enjoyed Tuesday, too, BIG TIME. And I want to stay optimistic and stop reading too many conservative blogs where they’re already hanging the black crepe paper; did they want a Democrat landslide???

Graham is a weasel, as is McCain, and they don’t call the shots (did you hear McC’s considering running for pres again? That’ll last four seconds)…
And, by the way; I keep asking this on my blog and various others and I want to know WHY “Immigration Reform” has suddenly come to mean BLANKET AMNESTY?? Why NOT “REFORM”? WHo says Graham didn’t tell Pres O that either we close borders first in some truly effective way or we don’t move?
    I can dream

Yep, they will use the lame duck session to push this though before the new Senate is sworn in and people like Graham and McCain will be leading figures in this. The lame duck session is something to be feared because outgoing Senators have nothing to lose at this point and will try to push as much through as they can on this as well as other issues.

It was just 45 minutes ago I watched Wolf and some administration fellow on CNN. Fellow was a white guy with a buzz cut telling how O wants to work with the new Congress. The, networks, used to tell in captions who was being interviewed and maybe they did post his name at the beginning, did not see it again and I missed the start. Anyway if he had a flattop like when I was young, maybe he could have convinced me about that. Of course I also had a Sal Mineo or James Dean curlicue in front, you can’t fool ol’ butterfly (said my friend Ignatius in ’48). 🙂
