Puma by Design has the full story on our quarantined nurse who raised hell at the thoughts of not getting her way, who doesn’t mind putting at all of us at risk with Ebola. Meanwhile, those living in NE Pennsylvania and caught up in cop killer Frein “quarantine” otherwise known as “Shelter in Place” otherwise known as Martial Law gets zero attention. The Frein case has been going on for over six weeks.
Rich Barry, one of the residents, said he was coming home from work in New York City at 7 p.m. when police stopped him at Route 447.
“I have a wife and a 2-year-old at home and I want to see them,” he said. “I wanted to try walking back home, but an officer told me they’d put me under arrest.”
First, from Puma:
Those of us who have been paying attention the past several weeks knew something was up as we recognized the language, i.e., Barack Obama, White House, CDC, MSNBC and now Sandra Flukes’ Kaci’s talking points were EXACTLY the same, VERBATIM. (It’s an insult that they believe us too ignorant to notice.)
On top of it all, Ebola Nurse aka elitist aka Sandra Fluke, correction Kaci Hickox is a registered Progressive (and Obama shill), which explains her arrogance and overwhelming sense of PRIVILEGE.
GotNews.com by Charles C. Johnson
Initially turned down for Doctors Without Borders, Hickox applied for a position with the Centers for Disease Control’s infectious disease unit. She received that position and began a two-year fellowship in Las Vegas, NV where she currently still works.
Hickox’s travels as a nurse took her to Myanmar, Cambodia, and Nigeria and convinced her of the importance of quarantines and ‘health surveillance,’ according to the University of Texas-Arlington newsmagazine.‘I realize that we need to find better ways to improve health surveillance and outbreak response in settings with poor resources,’ Hickox said. ‘My training in the EIS with the CDC will allow me to learn the gold standard of this kind of work….’
She co-wrote an anti-pharmaceutical industry op-ed for the Baltimore Sun and advocated against policies that would have developed life-saving drugs….
Read the full story and a great read over atPuma by Design .
Now for the thousands caught up in the Frein case:
Martial law in NE PA remains over Cop Killer Frein, call it what you like
The Pennsylvania State Police are asking all residents of Barrett and Price Townships to shelter in place immediately.
Please do not go outdoors and remain away from windows or openings to the outside.
Police are in the process of searching the area.
Please stay tuned to media outlets for further information.

UPDATE:
This may moot the lawsuit Kaci Hickox planned to file against New Jersey, but it won’t end the debate over the proper way to deal with health-care professionals returning from contact with Ebola patients. The state of New Jersey announced that they would release Hickox from mandatory quarantine after testing negative for the disease, but the tests don’t normally indicate infection in its earlier stages

I don’t like the idea of quarantining Americans simply for getting the sniffles, which is what Obama’s recent EO allows the Feds to do. However if a person goes over there to help Ebola patients I do not think it is too much to ask for them to be quarantined upon return just to be safe. That is what this nurse is missing, I guess working for the CDC has its privileges.

I feel the same way. I can’t imagine those seeing the horrors of Ebola would not want to away from family friends and others without question.

You would think that if she did not care about the fact she could infect strangers she would at least care about not infecting her family, but apparently she is too self-centered to even care about that.

Exactly. Where is the compassion for those at home? I am getting an ugly whiff of “look at what I do for humanity” bs from this. Charity begins at home.

Amen to that Steve! It seems a waste of taxpayer dollars and ridiculous when you consider we seem to be still letting folks in the country. Yes, I know they are trying to round up the infected or quarantine, NOW! Day late, dollar short.

She made the choice to go. Kudos to her for being selfless in giving. Where is the selflessness now that she is home? She wants to roam freely just like the Doc did. How about the rest of us schleps that are here? Where is our protection from these people?

I am with you. Yet they don’t mind threatening the locals whose only threat is to themselves. Making them sleep in their cars, arresting them. The world is nuts.

It’s utter nonsense when you think about who is paying for all of this. Why can’t they find this guy?

Eric Frein is but one lone nut case. Imagine how severe the police state (martial law) response would be if it were a dozen ISIS operatives they were hunting?
