HHS Burwell (Vince Foster dumpster diver) reverses – ‘We could have done better with Ebola’
Local Hospitals are not equipped to handle Ebola cases. It requires Level 4 Bio protocols. We need specialized centers. Period. Dr. Mobley nails it. Wake up, time is running out. Where is our HHS head? Get rid of the political hacks and get on with what we need to do.
UPDATE: Here is the pathetic CDC Checklist: http://www.cdc.gov/vhf/ebola/pdf/coalition-checklist-ebola-preparedness.pdf
Doctors Without Borders, meanwhile, said Tuesday that 16 of its staff members have been infected with Ebola and that nine have died. The toll highlights the high risk of caring for Ebola patients even at well-equipped and properly staffed treatment centers. Seattle Times
DALLAS (AP) — A second health care worker at a Dallas hospital who provided care for the first Ebola patient diagnosed in the U.S. has tested positive for the disease, the Texas Department of State Health Services said Wednesday. The department said in a statement that the worker reported a fever Tuesday and was immediately isolated at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. Health officials said the worker was among those who took care of Thomas Eric Duncan, who was diagnosed with Ebola after coming to the U.S. from Liberia. Duncan died Oct. 8.
The department said a preliminary Ebola test was conducted late Tuesday at a state public health laboratory in Austin, Texas, and came back positive during the night. Confirmatory testing was being conducted at the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta.

I think Frieden should put his money where his mouth is. He’s a physician by training. Get that hazmat suit on and start working Frieden. Stop the mouth from yapping and get on with working…REAL work.

If only one nurse, doctor or any variety of health care worker dies it might as well be an epidemic if it you or a family member who has died by fiat due to President Obola’s anti-protect America edicts. Despite the obvious results of this Islamist president’s foreign policy, domestic policy, economic policies, Obamacare and now infectious disease policy he remains untouchable with his appointed sycophants in every government agency covering his ass and promoting his agenda with no regard to their own or the country’s well being. The polling in the senate races does not reflect any Obama boot licking democrat losing ground in these races. I may be wrong but I steadfastly do not believe that the rrovepublicans take the senate this November. This country is past the tipping point and well on its way to destruction; pessimism or pragmatism?

There should be a landslide in the making. I hear no voices from the GOP. Even Boehner cannot be found. Another decade, Obama would be impeached and the real riots should be over Obama’s intentions to destroy our country,

The head of the CDC should be fired! The CDC should have had emergency response team teams in Dallas within hours after Duncan was diagnosed. The CDC should have taken charge of all protocols in Dallas.

The CDC hadn’t even had protocols in writing. I looked at them, but of course, I cannot find them now. But they were so vague it was unbelievable. They want to blame these poor hospitals that are not equipped even with the best of protocols.

The GOP should be walking away with the fall election. So far, zero from them.
